We stayed at the Gazebo Inn last year and I just had to return this year for those scrumptious eggs with fresh chives. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, - first class - 5 star service- everything about this place is marvelous! HIGHLY recommend!!

Home away from home. We have been to many different B&Bs in Ogunquit and finally found the best one. From the moment you are greeted by Scott and Bruce (owners) to the minute you check out, you are treated like a family member. The attention to detail is impeccable and the wonderful breakfast every morning is a perfect start to a wonderful day, also I have to mention the beautifully decorated rooms and the friendly staff. Perfect location right near the Trolley stop and walking distance to the Footbridge beach. We will definitely be returning to the Gazebo Inn in the near future.
A few words to describe our stay..relaxing, inviting, comfortable, homey, very clean.

All I can really do is echo the much deserved praise from the other reviewers. My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Gazebo to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We have stayed at a number of bed and breakfasts all over the country and this was by far the best place we have come across in our travels. We were in desperate need of a vacation because in the next month I'm having surgery, we are moving, starting a new job and attempting to buy our very first house. This was kind of like our last chance to relax before the craziness of August really began.

The difference is in the details and the overall feeling of the place. Unlike some inns, we felt that the owners and entire staff genuinely wanted us to be there, wanted us to USE the place, and hoped we enjoyed our stay. I have often been annoyed by ridiculous lists of rules about what you can, can't do at other bed and breakfasts and had the feeling that I needed to tip toe around so as not to disturb anything or break anything or do anything wrong. The Gazebo Inn had a very different feeling to it; a real 'help yourself, make yourself at home' kind of attitude that other places attempt, but do not pull off as well. Scott and the entire staff are whole heartedly committed to making sure you are happy while you're there. For example, when we arrived Scott brought us to the wrong room initially (hope this doesn't embarass him:). When we realized the mistake we went and told him. We weren't upset and didn't think it was a big deal, but he apologized profusely, showed us to the right room and promptly sent us a bottle of champagne for our 'trouble' (really it was just a minor inconvenience). It was the first time in 5 years he had done something like that! Service is their number one concern and it shows! Another great thing about the service here was that while staff was always available and happy to help, they were not overly available or at all intrusive. Guests' privacy was taken seriously and respected fully, but if you needed something you never had to spend time hunting someone down.

The attention to detail is incredible as well. The rooms are quiet and well sound proofed, we had xm radio which could also be hooked up to an ipod in both the bedroom and bathrom, and the pool was great given the often freezing cold water temperature in Maine. There's a grill guests can use as well as a gorgeous kitchen, lots of helpful maps and menus, dvds, guest laundry and guest computers, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast each day and two hot tubs!

We had the hotel limo pick us up and drive us to dinner on our anniversary which was a fun treat. It was great to just hand the hotel business card to our waiter after dinner and have the limo magically appear. The staff at the inn also took care of making our reservation. On vacation it's just so nice to have other people handle these kinds of details.

The inn is located really well for both beach and enjoying the rest of Ogunquit.

For cheap lobster check out the Beach Plum Lobster Farm right next door to the inn. They don't have anything except lobster and clams but people were bringing sides and having amazing feasts at the picnic tables. It was a fun, inexpensive way to enjoy lobster.

All I can say is go and enjoy! A stay here is a sure thing. We're already trying to figure out when we can get back again. Thanks to the entire staff for a perfect, much needed break from the real world!

I cannot say enough about this beautiful inn and we cannot wait to return for a longer stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the inn and rooms are spotless, and the service is excellent. Scott and Bruce are warm and welcoming inn keepers who have created a peaceful haven in the heart of a busy little town. Though right on route 1, when in the garden or by the pool, you feel miles away. I cannot finish this review without commenting on the sheets and the bed ... so many places cut corners by using mediocre quality bedding, but the bedding here was luxurious ... such a treat. This is a great place to go for a romantic weekend, but it would also be loads of fun with a big group of friends - even as a cozy retreat in the winter. Just perfect anytime!!

My husband and I stayed at the Gazebo Inn for one night at the end of July. We absolutely LOVED everything about the Inn! We were greeted by Peter, who took us on a tour of the inn and gave us some great advice on places to visit during our short trip. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for the two of us. Breakfast the next morning was delicious!
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! I would HIGHLY recommend this Inn to anyone staying in the Ogunquit area. We can't wait to go back!!

We just spent a wonderful two nights (not enough!) at the Gazebo Inn. We stayed in Barn Suite # 1, which was absolutely perfect - the sheets, the steam shower, the jacuzzi tub for two, the furntiure, the colors, the decor, etc... I have been to Ogunquit many times over the past 15 years and I have never stayed at the Inn. What a mistake...now I will never stay anywhere else! Scott & Bruce are great owners/hosts and they help to make the Inn welcome, comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was delicious both mornings that we were there. All of the other guests were in awe of the attention to detail in every aspect of the Gazebo Inn. We will definitely be return customers...many, many more times in the future....

This is our second visit to this gorgeous Inn and definately not our last! Newly renovated rooms with beautiful decor and very very clean! The grounds are also beautiful and well kept. Large delicous breakfast daily and the staff well what can I say, they have become a part of our family.Scott & Bruce the inn keepers are one of a kind. The moment you arrive they make you feel like it's your home away from home. The staff are great as well will go above and beyond your needs.Last year we stayed in Barn 3 and was shocked at how gorgeous this room was. So this year we decided to stay in a larger room Barn 5 and Wow... it passed all our expectations and then some! One visist with this Inn and it definately won't be your last! You must book early because it fillls up fast. We already booked for next year again.
The Gazebo Inn is located in an excellent location where you are not far to travel and see a lot of sights as well as the best shopping!
Can't wait to get back there again.
