We just returned from our second stay at 16 Beach Street and we couldn't be happier that we decided to stay there again! Linda and Dick are warm, gracious and helpful. They become friends effortlessly and immediately. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean, the breakfasts are a daily delight, especially when served on the broad wrap-around porch, and the location is perfect, in the heart of Ogunquit and ashort walk to the beach. Park your car and wander all over Ogunquit or simply park yourself on their front porch, with lemonade and fresh-baked cookies, and watch the world go by. Whatever you decide to do in Ogunquit, 16 Beach Street is the best place to stay, by far! (and we've been vacationing there for 25 years.) We weren't there two days and decided to make our reservation for next year! Now that's something wonderful to look forward to all winter!

Mom and I stayed at 16 Beach St. from Aug. 7-12, and we can definitely say it was a wise choice. Hosts Dick and Linda are the perfect hosts and will help with dinner reservations and suggestions for activities in and around town. The breakfasts are out of this world. Did I say the breakfasts are out of this world? The B&B also has beach towels, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs for the convenience of guests. The location is very central, where Beach St. meets Shore Road and Route 1. 3-4 minutes walk to the beach and within walking distance of fine dining. And for you shoppers, staying at 16 Beach St. entitles one to a 10% discount at some of the boutiques. Dick and LInda can tell you which ones. Ogunquit has something (not just the beach) for everyone: shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse on Route 1 and also at the Booth Theatre just across the street, shopping, fine dining, walking the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, viewing fine art at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, photography, trolleying (Red Line Trolley stops just a few feet from and across the B&B) in and around town and to Wells and Kennebunkport, history, and much much more. You will have a fine time at 16 Beach St.

This was our second stay at 16 Beach Street. The best thing is to be able to park the car and walk everywhere- to the beach, boutique shops, Perkins Cove and to the Marginal Way. The lavish breakfasts on the front porch are something to think about all year long. My sister and I highly recommend a vacation at 16 Beach Street. You won't be disappointed.

16 Beach Street has become an annual highlight for my husband and I. The rooms are clean, bright and decorated with charm, and the "gourmet" breakfasts (served on the porch) are absolutely delightful. Located in the heart of Ogunquit, we are within walking distance to many of the local attractions. Our favourite spot to sit and watch the world go by is right on the very porch at 16 Beach Street. Linda and Dick are warm and inviting hosts and we look forward to "catching up" with them each year. Until we meet again….

My fiance and I recently stayed at 16 Beach st and had the best time! The B&B is located right in the heart of Ogunquit and walking distance to everything. Nice 5 min walk to the beach or marginal way and literally step outside and your in town. We didnt have to take our car anywhere, which was nice. Dick and Linda are the nicest people and were absolutely wonerful. They made us feel right at home the whole time. Now for the breakfast......SOOOO GOOOD!! The presentation was almost like something out of a magazine. As others have stated, gourmet indeed. Although our stay was only a couple of days it was exactly what we needed, and we cannot wait to come back!

We have stayed in high quality B&Bs throughout the east coast and this is among the best. Dick and Linda are excellent hosts, the breakfasts were outstanding, the location is outstanding and the rooms and front porch are terrific. Other than a very short ride to the Oqunquit Theatre, we never moved our car. It is an easy walk the beach, restaurants and even the Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. We definitely recommend the Inn and we will certainly return.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Mary Harrington room. The bathroom was a little small but high quality. The room it...

My GF and I were visiting her sister in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago and we decided to do an overnighter to Ogunquit. Although they normally require a 2 night minimum, Dick and Linda allowed us to book just one night. We had the third floor all to ourselves, 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and the accommodations could not have been more perfect. One room had an ocean view, both rooms were nicely appointed and we all felt quite comfortable and safe. Just a short, 3 minute walk to the beach or to the Marginal Way. The proprietors are most attentive, are a wealth of local knowledge and just genuinely nice people. They make you feel like you're visiting a relative or friend rather than just renting a room. Breakfast was fantastic. Easily the nicest B&B we've ever stayed in. Highly recommended, as a VERY clean and comfortable base for your southern Maine excursions. Awesome beach in Ogunquit while being just a short drive to either Wells or Kennebunkport. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed.
