We went there 3 times because we loved the location just near busy downtown Ogunquit. The trolly can easily bring you to all the cute shops and restaurants but you are not in all the action and traffic jam. The 2 pools were appreciated, the outdoor one is large and the indoor one is great when the weather is chilly. The game room and tennis court are also good for older kids. There's lots of grounds to play or BBQ.

The rooms are large and well maintained, though the decoration is a bit dated. The bathroom in our 3 rooms were recently renovated. The staff is friendly and helpfull.

There's a great view of the Ogunquit River, the dunes and the sea behond. The only down side, you have to fallow the tide schedule to go to de beach directly off the property by crossing the Ogunquit River, but the row boats can be charming. If you don't want to botter, you can take the trolly to the footbridge or to the main beach. The beach is beautifull and the area is great too.

This hotel advaertised to us on the phone that they offered a nice breakfast. When we went over for breakfast we were led to a room where there was a pitcher of juice,a pot of coffee and a box of donuts!!! The rooms are dated and not very comfortable. The rooms were like a college dorm room with no perks. You can do much better than this place and hopefully get a decent breakfast elsewhere. The management told us the breakfast was included in the price. The price of what we had was under $1.00!!!!

We used to go here when are kids were young. The pool is large and the access to the beach with the row boats can be fun. As the kids got older we found that the hotel became more and more disappointing. We had to ask for towels. We had to ask for a bath mat. We had to ask for toilet paper. People would stake out their chairs around the pool first thing in the morning with towels and belongings so eventually there was no place to sit even if no one was there. Also having to worry about the tide schedule with the row boat became stressful. The last time we were there our room smelled horribly, either bug spray or carpet cleaner. We had to keep the windows open instead of using the a/c and the staff tried changing all of the pillows and bedding to no avail. After that we tried other hotels in the area and were amazed at what we had been missing all this time. There are much nicer places in the area to stay,

My son and I went to Ogunquit 7-24--7-27,nice clean renovated
2dbl spacios room! It was304 had anice patio with flower garden.
Nice big outdoor pool (heated) small indoor also heated.
free coffe donuts, cereal. The only complaint I have is the gameroom the small garbage was spilling over, the floor needed sweeping one ancient pool cue although the pool table
was new ,no chalk , subsandwich bags left all over table!
It is a walk to town, Ogunquit is such a quaint town! I would
stay closer to town next time on Shore rd,lots of nice hotel& inns .
They do have a trolley that runs every 10-15 mins! Did use that, also did a lot of walking, I thought I was going to drop dead! Foot
bridge is a lot less crowded than Ogunquit beach people were crowded like acan of sardines! It was my first trip to Ogunquit
but not my last! Try Vinnie's Rest& Grille! This was a nice resort
bit it's just the location!
