This was our third stay at the Yardarm. Bev and Scott are always welcoming. Thank you again for the "Welcome Home"! this inn really feels like home away from home. Muffins are AWESOME! Love the "chip pies". Be sure to sail with Captain Scott. Best sail on the Southern Maine coast.

We enjoyed our stay at the inn, a quaint, comfortable B & B in a fantastic location just a stone's throw away from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way.

But the most amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that this inn offers is that the owner, Scott, will take you out on his 26-ft sailboat for a two hour ride in the Atlantic. We scheduled a boat ride with Scott for the second day of our visit and we were not disappointed. We sailed up and down the coast on a perfect day for the best two hours of our ten-day visit to Maine. Neither of us had ever sailed before, and this experience was the best first sail I can imagine. Thanks, Scott, for this great perk to a great place to stay.

So said Bev when I commented on how hospitable she and her husband, Scott were during our four night stay. My family enjoys Maine, particularly the coast. Where else can you find clear blue waters, lobster and peacefulness? We also enjoy staying at B & Bs where we feel genuinely welcome, and that's what makes Yardarm Village Inn special. Bev and Scott have a relaxed, caring way about them that makes their guests feel like they're at home. Need a beach towel? No problem? What about a coolie to keep your beverages cool? Interested in going for a sail around 1:00? Seriously, if you are looking for a place to decompress, then check out the Yardarm Village Inn. You won't be disappointed.

This wonderful little jewel of an Inn has become an annual vacation treat for me over the course of many years. Scott and Beverly are outstanding hosts who could not be more helpful and accommodating. Just a fabulous place run by a couple whom I, along with my sisters, have come to cherish as dear friends. Believe me when I say that our reservation for the next year is always made before we leave for home.

You should stop reading reviews and start making reservations at The Yardham. We have been coming here for 5 years and this is still the perfect place to stay. Location is very close to Perkins Cove and Marginal Way. The outside grounds are the best that you will ever find. The rooms are spotless and all have everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is a highlight that all returning guests look forward to enjoying. The hosts (Scott and Bev) are the most friendly and helpful innkeepers that you will ever meet. Can not wait for our 6th year visit.

My daughter and I stayed overnight here and truly loved the place! The hospitality was wonderful, the blueberry muffins for breakfast were great and the location, very close to the marginal way. I slept in a room with a poster over my bed by Vermont artist Warren Kimball whose studio I had visited last year . I liived in Vermont for 30 years and he is a favorite artist from the town of Brandon. This b&b is full of the owners amazing collection of antiques and has a super shop for last minute gifts. We shalll certainly try to return!
