Its always time for a 'drink' at the Yardarm village inn, whether it be unlimited coffee on the front porch in the morning, a relaxing afternoon glass of wine on the porch or by the firepit / patio, or a cocktail in the evening. The 'YVI' (Yardarm Village Inn) is a very cozy , well maintained building that is tastefully decorated giving one the feeling of a seashore cottage. We stayed in room ten on the first floor just outside the sitting room with gas fireplace that was lit every morning for the guests to enjoy. The room was roomy , quiet, with a TV in the bedroom and one in the sitting room, small refrigerator, plenty of drawer space, ample lighting and a private bath with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was between 8am and 10 am, but during our stay all the guests were together having coffee and muffins along with a dish of fresh fruit at around 8am. As if it isn't enough to enjoy a beautiful morning facing the sun rising, with hot coffee and delicious muffins served to you on the porch, it was very nice to engage in conversation not only with Scott and Bev( the inn keepers) but the friendly guests that shared breakfast time with us. The character of the YVI and its guests is a reflection of the dedication and love that Scott and Bev put into making their guests stay and pleasant and comfortable as can be. It was easy to tell that they love what they are doing.
Lest I forget, The YVI is perfectly located, slightly off the beaten path but within walking distance of Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and downtown Ogunquit. if you are an early riser, don't miss the sunrise at Perkins Cove( even if the coffee shop isn't open at 6am) :)
Our only regret about our first stay at the YVI is that it was only for two nights but we are sure it wont be our last stay.

Thank you Scott and Bev for a wonderful getaway.

Room Tip: the mattress and pillows were softer than I prefer in room 10

Great country inn right near Perkins Cove. This was our first time there and it was fabulous. We had Room 8 suite and it was clean and very comfortable. Bev and Scott are wonderful hosts. Scott's blueberry muffins are fantastic! We will be back!

Beautiful location within a few minutes walk to Perkins Cove. The wine, cheese and gift shop is very nice and the prices are reasonable. The rooms are charming .The blueberry muffins are the best! This was our 2nd visit and we didn't have the time to sail with Scott. Next time for sure!

Room Tip: Love Suite #6, it has a small sitting area that is very comfortable.

The Yardarm Village is more than a Bed and Breakfast, more than a wine and cheese shop, more than a gift shop. It is all this and much more. It's small size is it's greatest asset. All the rooms are extremely charming and comfortable. The small cafe is in and of itself a fabulous room just right for a very filling light continental type breakfast. The homemade blueberry muffins, (owner family recipe) are terrific. It is convenient to the area in Ogunquit, particularly Perkins Cove, where among other things, Inn owners Scott and Bev Drury keep a sail boat that Scott will take you out on a two hour (or there-abouts) tour of the harbor around "greater Ogunquit". I truly, heartily recommend the Yardarm Village Inn.

The Yardarm did an excellent job. They were welcoming and informative. In addition, it was beautifully landscaped. The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do and see in the area. We could walk to a lot of the sights, restaurants, and shops. An added plus was sailing with Scott one afternoon! And of course those blueberry muffins! Yum!

This was our third stay at the Yardarm. Bev and Scott are always welcoming. Thank you again for the "Welcome Home"! this inn really feels like home away from home. Muffins are AWESOME! Love the "chip pies". Be sure to sail with Captain Scott. Best sail on the Southern Maine coast.

We enjoyed our stay at the inn, a quaint, comfortable B & B in a fantastic location just a stone's throw away from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way.

But the most amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that this inn offers is that the owner, Scott, will take you out on his 26-ft sailboat for a two hour ride in the Atlantic. We scheduled a boat ride with Scott for the second day of our visit and we were not disappointed. We sailed up and down the coast on a perfect day for the best two hours of our ten-day visit to Maine. Neither of us had ever sailed before, and this experience was the best first sail I can imagine. Thanks, Scott, for this great perk to a great place to stay.
