My family has been going to Beach Plum Farm for the past 10 years and we go here at least twice a year; every time we visit Maine from NJ. The owners know us by name and they deliver great service for carryout and prices are really great considering other prices in the area. They can cook the lobsters and steamer clams on the spot. If you want to have a picnic, they have benches/tables on their property where you can enjoy the seafood there! Every visit doesn't disappoint and we will continue going there as long as we stay healthy!!!

We loved this place, the owner was a great guy, very funny and insightful! The lobsters and steamers were the best I have had, cooked for you while you wait. Eat at the picnic tables and bring your own drinks. They now have a wonderful collection of carvings that the owner carves with love and pride. Can't wait to go back next time I am in Ogunquit!

Park and grab your live lobsters at this little shack behind a home along Main Street. Most people carry them out but there are picnic tables for folks like us who want to eat on site. They will boil and provide you tools, paper plates and melted butter for a small charge. Bring your own drinks! We stayed at a place next door so it was easy to run back and get the beer!

We feel that boiled lobster is a bit tougher than fried lobster (we're from the south) but these animals were delicious.

Prices range from $6-$10 a pound which we were told is because the smaller the lobster, the harder it is to get out the meat so the bigger it is, the more popular it is.....and thus the higher price per pound.

The owner says that lobsters are fresh from locals - "supplied through a normal cooperative effort of many local fisherman and others downeast Maine."

Bottom line: if you know what to expect here, we think the lobster was tasty at a fair price.

PS - If you're interested in a Totem Pole..... they have some there... really!

Ignore the negative reviews. This is THE place to get fresh steamers and lobstahs!!!!

You pick they cook for only $2 more. Order melted butter and take back to your place or eat on their picnic tables (now with shade cover). BYOB and drinks. No frills good eating.

Been coming here for past 5 years and always my first and last stop for Maine vacation. Tell 'em Texas says hello!!

Best lobsters ever!

We chatted with the owner, and he was super chill and funny. The place only serves lobsters and steamers, but they were both delicious. We went in the afternoon treating it as a snack and ordered two chix each (the sweetest) and ate them at the picnic table outside with the butter and the shell crackers they provide.

We saw people coming with table cloth, wine, and side dishes and made a picnic out of it with the lobsters provided. We may do that next time!
