This our second time staying at the Inn with Bruce and Scott as owners and Charles assisting.

We wanted to meet friends from LA somewhere for Thanksgiving and suggested Ogunquit even though we knew it would be quiet...this being very much "off season". What a great place to go to get away from the hectic pace of city life.

There have even been more enhancements to the Inn since our visit in August. New room colors in contemporary soothing tones. Breakfast remain wonderful...the inn was cozy warm and the rooms have individual heated baseboard heat (no drying forced air heat).

Restaurants are all running great specials so the meals are fractional to what we are used to. Walks on the beach were fun with a little bundling to be warm...and the same goes for the exceptional Marginal Way cliff walk.

The spa remains open...just ask Bruce or Charles to uncover it and you are ready to go in!

I wish we could go back for Christmas!

We are frequent guests at the Gazebo Inn, also owned by the remarkable Scott and Bruce. So it's no surprise that their newest inn, 2 Village Square is just as wonderful!
We stayed in a very economical room that had a bath ( not shared) right down the hall. The up side was the magnificent view of the water. And also the quaint downtown area. Walking into town and the beach is an easy, pleasant walk. And when you return to the inn, everyone is so friendly. Sitting on the front porch and looking at that view just transports you to a relaxed place. Since we first stayed at 2V when they opened in May, there have been some great new touches added for comfort of the guests. The breakfast area is very well done and the food is delicious!
I had a magnificent massage by Alex when I was there and then Chuck, who is totally "at your service" got the cover off the hot tub for me and well, that's when I decided I wanted to move in.
Plus, you get to see Bruce more often so there's really nothing better anywhere! He was born to be a B&B host!

What a treat it was to stay at 2 Village Square Inn, as they say in real estate... location location location!! It is the most perfect spot when traveling to Ogunquit! It was awesome to keep the car parked and be able to walk to everything- to the shops, to the restaurants, to the marginal way/cliff walk and the beach- its perfect!
In addition to the great location, there is the fabulous inn keepers Bruce and Scott and the manager Peter- these gentleman are always greeting you with a smile! All of the staff at 2 Village Square Inn are top notch- friendly, helpful and just overall nice people. There is a saying that is in their other Inn ( Gazebo Inn) that reads" Enter as Strangers...Leave as Friends".... and I cannot emphasize how true this is. Once you stay at one of their fabulous Inn's, you will understand this and you will come back time and time again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend away- hot breakfast was delicious-Maine blueberry pancakes were the talk of the car ride home! Loved the location and the breathtaking ocean views- just perfect!

We stayed at 2 Village Square and have nothing but great things to say about the location, the updated accommodations and the friendly staff. Breakfast is included every morning, there are only 17 rooms and it is a very charming building with plenty of parking.Best of all, we traveled with our Norwich Terrier and they have 2 rooms that are designated as dog friendly.....so this worked out great for us! Thumbs up!

Bruce and Scott are born innkeepers, and any guests lucky enough to stay with them will benefit from what is clearly a labour of love. The ocean view from our upper-floor room was amazing. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves, on a superb mattress with top quality linens. The inn's location is perfect, nestled in the centre of Ogunquit, walking distance to the Marginal Way, shops and restaurants and a short drive to outlet malls and other villages. Amenities include an in-room Keurig coffee maker as well as coffee and tea in the lobby, wonderful breakfasts, a DVD library, on-site massage therapy. Did we mention the availability of a limo for wining and dining further afield? We will plan our next trip to New England around 2 Village Square.

My daughter in law and I were touring the Fall New England leaves through New York, Vermont and New Hampshire concluding our trip in Ogunquit, Maine. I had never seen the Atlantic Ocean before and this B&B was recommended to us. I had an ocean front room with private bath. It was clean, quiet and beautifully hosted by Scott Osgood and Bruce Senecal. It was decorated in what I imagined the New England style should be. Great bed and sunrise over the Atlantic. It doesn't get any better then that except maybe the amazing breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone.

We have been staying at the Inn for years through several changes in ownership. We truly thought it had reached it's peak with the improvements the last owners had completed and felt bereft with their deprature. We returned again this year with some trepidation and feeling of loss, to an even BETTER Inn. Upgrades abounded...new, incredibly comfortable beds, frigs in the rooms, expanded yummy breakfasts to name a few.But most important to us...warm and welcoming hosts, Bruce & Scott (and lets not forget Charles), were eager to help with anything to make our stay all the more stress-free and comfortable. We love the deck and beautiful pool/hot tub area when beaching isn't an option.Big fluffy towels, iced tea and even tanning lotion are at your poolside disposal. There is little in the way of amenities at 2V that hasn't been considered. It's simply a wonderful accomodation!
This has always been a gay-friendly Inn in which we have felt comfortable and welcomed. One gets the impression that 2V is being marketed as more mainstream in it's inclusivity. I noted the pride flag is no longer flying. One wonders if there might be a change in clientele over time.I hope not. ...it's perfect now.
