“A Very Special INN”
Reviewed 11 June 2013

Ira & Reggie, Plainsboro NJ

We will return to the Nellie in 2014 for the third year in a row! Over the decades we have vacationed in numerous inns across the country and the Nellie is our very favorite. Tricia is one of those rare innkeepers that knows just how much or how little attention each of her guest prefers. She runs the flawlessly. The Nellie, a gracious and newly renovated Victorian located in the heart of the village provides convenient access to everything and still manages to envelope the guests with a serene environment that includes modern amenities such as an exercise room, hot tubs, steam room, and sauna. Breakfast balances the various preferences of guests (healthy and/or decadent). The hospitality is warm and thoughtful. Tricia is a treasure.

This place was incredible! Rooms and common areas were gorgeous and the innkeeper, Tricia, took wonderful care of us. Breakfast was excellent as well as the mid-afternoon cookies fresh from the oven. We can't wait to go back!

Had a relaxing time at the Nellie Littlefield Inn with family and friends ... We also had the Inn to ourselves it was alot of fun. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast was delicious and the service superb, thanks to Tricia the Innkeeper she is so helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. The location is perfect right in the middle of everything shopping ( The lazy daisy) loved that shop, beach, marginal way which is such a beautiful walk to Perkins Cove. Can't say enough. A great place to stay.

Had a another great time at the Nellie hanging out...We had the Inn to ourselves and hung out by the hot tub, relaxed on the front porch and chatted with the owners (Scott & Bruce) who are very pleasant people. We also met Peter again this trip who is very friendly and helpful as always. Tricia, once again was just the perfect hostess and prepares an awesome breakfast. We love the special attention given to us when we visit the Inn...Looking so forward to our trip in August to celebrate our 35th anniversary!

Room Tip: Queen 6 is our favorite room.

The entire inn was so clean and beautiful there were absolutely no complaints!! We have talked of making this trip an annual trip it was so perfect! thanks to Scott, Bruce, Peter , Tricia for all they did to make this special anniversary a great one for our memory books!! We have been going to Ogunquit for 20 years and just decided to try the Nellie Littlefield Inn.
What a great find! I cannot express how lovely this bed and breakfast is. The rooms are neat as a pin. The breakfast is delectable. The location is perfect, The paking is convenient. The service is just great, the young lady in charge does a fabulous job of making everyone feel at home. We typically stay at the hotels in the area but must say that the Nellie Littlefield Inn is second to none in Ogunquit!

We happened to stay at the Nellie Littlefield Inn this weekend because it's sister property, Two Village Square, was closed for the month of March (for a much needed vacation for it's owners). I have to admit that I was slightly worried that we couldn't have our usual stay at 2VSquare, but after looking at the property online I was convinced that our weekend would be just as good. I wasn't wrong. This is the only time we get away during the year so we feel that it needs to be memorable and special and the Nellie Littlefield Inn didn't disappoint. We checked in on Friday and was greeted by Tricia, our Innkeeper, who helped bring our many bags up to our third floor room. The inn has been extensively renovated over the last year and was so inviting and reminded me of 2VSquare immediately. It was clear that Bruce had influenced the renovations and decorating of this Inn. Our room was beautiful and warm and inviting - everything I had hoped for. Our weekend was memorable for so many reasons, but mainly because of where we stayed. The Inn felt like 'home'. Each time we left or returned from our adventures, Tricia was there to greet us and ask us how our day was -- we felt important. Breakfasts were unbelievably delicious and you could tell that Tricia cared about her guests and their experience. We were sad to leave on Sunday, but walked out with a bag of homemade scones and memories to last until our next visit. You should only stay at one of these properties when you visit Ogunquit as you will have the best experience ever. Thank you to Scott and Bruce for your impeccable taste and quality workmanship that make our visits so special. We can't stop talking about it!

Room Tip: Loved our King bed and ocean view!
