My husband and I had a great first experience at the Nellie Inn. Our friends have been going every year for a couple of year and have been raving about it, so we decided to join them this year. We can't say enough about our experience. The innkeepers were so friendly and welcoming. The place was so modern and update to date, made the whole place feel so welcoming and cozy. We had the king suite 1 on the first floor and I honestly can say I think it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! Since it was mid January and snowing, the fireplace in the room made everything feel so warm and cozy. We had booked a package so they had dinner booked for us both nights and drove us to and from on the first night and the second night we walked as the restaurant was only down the street. Both mornings, the breakfast was amazing! It was so nice to wake up, and have a gourmet breakfast made. It included everything from eggs, spinach, sausage, french toast, hash browns, toast, cereal, scones, coffee and tea. Everything was so delicious! Then we hung out in the hot tub for a couple hours, enjoyed a massage, time in the steam room, honestly didn't have to leave the premises which is exactly what we were looking for. Overall, an amazing experience and we can't wait to go back again!!

Everyone should try out the Nellie! It's the best location in town! We love going in the winter during their wine weekend! There nothing like drinking wine in the hot tub while the snow is falling!

They always have the best sheets,Great food and the Inn keepers are amazing!!

What more do you need?

Room Tip: You can't go wrong with any of the room! There all equally amazing!

The Nellie Littlefield Inn is absolutely beautiful. The entire property is quite charming, inviting and the staff is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable! Our room was incredibly spacious and modern. The bed was so comfortable that we struggled to get up each morning. Our Innkeeper, Tricia whipped up such a delicious hot breakfast for us to enjoy each morning and homemade chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. The location is ideal with so much close at hand while still in a truly lovely neighborhood setting. This is our 4th stay and we couldn’t have asked for better experience!

We stayed here for Christmas at Ogunquit weekend and couldn't, have been better Trish had our room cleaned early and even had the fire going when we arrived. We always feel at home when we stay at any of their inn's. Bruce, Scott, Trish and Peter take care of every detail. Thanks again for the delicious breakfast and the buffet during the parade.

We spent our second stay at the Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa over Thanksgiving week (the first being for a few days during our honeymoon last year). The week could not have been any more wonderful or relaxing. Each day started with a DELICIOUS breakfast homemade by Tricia (the innkeeper) that honestly probably could've kept us full until dinner. Typically it was fruit/yogurt/cereal served along side something hot. A favorite being cinnamon french toast! Coffee was available all day- which was a great bonus.

As far as things to in the area-Tricia had great recommendations for things to do/eat in the area or nearby. She was incredibly knowledgeable of Maine in general and pointed us in the right direction of anything we were looking for!

The rooms are extremely cozy with their own fireplaces and luxurious bed linens. Even their towels are also crazy comfortable and soft. Some of the rooms definitely are smaller but still all have the same basic amenities such as a kuerig, mini fridge (with freezer), TV & DVD player. So if space is something you're worried about I'd ask which rooms might be better, but even the smaller ones are just as comfortable. Every detail of the inn lends to it's inviting and cozy atmosphere, including the cute sitting area on the main level. If you're staying in, there's also a great dvd library to borrow from. It seemed like they had a little bit of everything to choose from.

Mostly, though, what made this trip (and the one before it) exceptional is that Tricia is honestly the best innkeeper I've ever encountered. She is so warm & friendly & accommodating & just easy to have a nice conversation with. She's definitely big part of the reason we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on our trips to Maine other than the lovely Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa.

We try to get-away a few times per year, and Ogunquit is one of our favorite places for relaxation. The Nellie – is a perfect place to feel like you have a home, while away from home. Trish and the entire staff look after your every need, the place is so very clean and the breakfasts will set you up for the entire day – we never order lunch afterwards! The location is right in Ogunquit, so you are not driving anywhere once you park your car. The facility has an exercise room that will help you get an appetite for diner as well as on-site message rooms – All in All – a wonderful place for a get-away, charging that internal battery of yours! We will return.

We had the pleasure of staying in King 7, a larger room with a small balcony, gas stove, and large bathroom. The room was brightened by large windows looking out on trees, and the balcony had an unexpected distant view of the ocean. The bed was very, very comfortable.
The staff that welcomed us were both wonderfully friendly and accommodating, almost giving the feeling one was visiting friends (which is what you kind of hope for when going to smaller, B&B-type properties, isn't it?).
The "continental breakfast" unexpectedly included a delicious quiche (I enjoy a bit more than just cereals and breads in the morning, myself).
The only critique I might give is that the bedspread was a heavy brocade. Quite beautiful, except that if you wanted to remove it all you were left with was a thin blanket. Most hotels have moved on to down comforters and I find them much more comfortable, and they can act as spreads and provide warmth.
However, given the sort of place Nellie Littlefield seems to be, had I brought this up to an innkeeper, I'm sure I'd have had a comforter in no time.
All in all a lovely stay.

Room Tip: King 7 is lovely, spacious, and has a small balcony with a high bar table (probably so you can see t...
