“Romantic Victorian Inn!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This quaint Victorian inn is optimally located in the heart of the town, close to the beach, Marginal Way, shops, art galleries, restaurants, etc. A generous buffet breakfast is included.

We have stayed several times and every visit has been memorable.

My husband and I stayed at the Nellie Littlefield Inn this past Memorial Day weekend. We had a fantastic time, and the inn is gorgeous! We stayed in the turret room on the third floor and really enjoyed people watching out the front window. The inn is truly beautiful...renovated and modern amenities while still maintaining much of its original charm and character. Everywhere in the place is also spotless...amazingly clean! Tricia, the innkeeper, was beyond friendly and accommodating, and makes the most amazing home-cooked breakfasts! She helped us with dinner reservations and restaurant suggestions. This was our first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast as we usually favor larger hotels, and now I'm wondering what took us so long to try them out. We will definitely be back!

This is the second of the properties owned by the same people who own a total of four places in Ogunquit. I chose the Nellie Littlefield because I always have wanted to stay in their turret room. The inn is very nicely decorated. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, plenty of closet space and beautiful furnishings. Trisha, the innkeeper, was most welcoming and did everything she could for us. The inn was not crowded when we were there. We used the outside hot tub and the exercise room looked nice although we did not use it this trip. I might not recommend staying in the turret room on a busy summer night without the air conditioning on. There tends to be quite a bit of noise floating up from the street from people walking by. This can't be helped, but if you are a light sleeper, it might disturb you. The breakfast was great and I love the mini keurig in the room. The location is very convenient to do everything on foot in Ogunquit. Overall a wonderful experience!

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back of the inn if street noise bothers you.

My wife and I have been going to "The Nellie Littlefield" for 15 years and have never been disappointed. The newest owners have brought this B & B to the finest and highest level of accommodations. The upgrades rival any 5 star B & B and or Hotels yet they have manage to keep the rates reasonable. I urge anyone who will be traveling to Ogunquit to stay at the Nellie Littlefield Inn and Spa. Thank you SJM

The Nellie Littlefield Inn is the definition of a true Bed and Breakfast. Right when you drive up to the inn, the front desk person will come out and greet you and give you a tour of the inn. Service is very personal and they are there to serve you. Everyone was very friendly here. The whole Inn is very quaint and peaceful.

The rooms are very nice, and they make you feel like you're at home. They have K-Cup machines with coffee in the rooms and nice beds and bathrooms. I had a room right next to the balcony, and that was nice to sit there and relax and people watch down on the street! The breakfast is very very good and they have a ton of food out for their buffet. They have a nice little pool area which is nice to relax in. They also have their spa/massage area and workout room.

It's in a GREAT location, right next to the downtown shopping area. Everything is within a minute walking distance, and a few minutes to Ogunquit beach.

The Inn is good for couples, because they only offer one bed in each room. I only know this because I stayed the month before they were going to stop having two beds in the rooms.

Overall a really great Inn!

Room Tip: Get a room near the balcony! It's nice to sit out on it!

From the moment we arrrived innkeeper Trisha's personable tour of the inn made us feel welcome. Little touches like the use of umbrellas (for it was a rainy day when we arrived) to warm and cozy robes to use to go to the outdoor hottub (which is salt water and was great against the cooler maine temps that day), to cookies and coffee and tea during the day. There is an exercise room, sauna and also massage rooms. Our room was very nice and cozy. Had a gas stove and balcony off. It was very nicely decorated and also had a keurig coffeemaker in the room with a frig. The inn is located right next to stores and restaurants. We like the Front Porch restaurant and its only a few steps away as well as access to the Marginal Way. I highly recommend a visit.

Room Tip: We didnt have a choice for all were booked. Ours was a smaller room but didnt matter for it still wa...

Once again another wonderful time at the Nellie Littlefield. Tricia as always makes us feel right at home. Her charming personality is worth the returning trips. Breakfast is delicious and served with a smile along with great conversation. I just love the different coffees and enjoy the fresh baked scones...Yummy!! We enjoy the hot tub with every trip and the terry robes are perfect during the chilly months. Before leaving we stopped by the Gabezo Inn and the 2 V Square Inn to say hi to Peter, Scott and Bruce who we always enjoy talking with. We are looking forward to our returning trip in May and bringing our friends with us.

Room Tip: The queen 6 is our favorite room...and has a great view of the town and a newly remodeled bathroom.
