We have been to Ogunquit many times with our children in years past. Now as "empty nesters" we look for cozier more intimate places to stay. Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa fits the bill. Our room was very comfortable with a sitting area, complete with separate TV, regular mini/fridge and wine fridge. The sheets on the bed are a treat...so soft and luxurious that the Innkeepers sell them due to the many requests they have received. Our room also had a wonderful deck and adirondack chairs. Breakfasts were delicious with a standard main meal, but plenty of extra choices. The facility includes a gym with sauna and steam room. We also indulged in massages while we were there. The massage team were quite good. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed Andrew's pleasant demeanor and engaging conversation. You will definitely enjoy your stay here...the location is also perfect - right in the center of everything!

Thank you Bruce, Scott and Andrew for making our return visit to your properties such a rewarding experience. Each of you displayed a warmth and genuineness to your welcome, throughout our stay, and were so helpful to making our visit to Ogunquit truly memorable. While we have stayed at your 2VillageSquare inn on previous visits, our stay this time at the Nellie Littlefield Inn (room #8, fantastic!) exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to Andrew in particular. Hope to see you all again soon!

Room Tip: Room #8 has three generous and beautifully updated rooms: bedroom, bathroom and sitting room, plus a...

We recently stayed at The Nellie Littlefield for our 21st anniversary, and had an absolutely perfect stay! We arrived to a warm welcome by Andrew, who then gave us a very helpful tour of the property and it's numerous amenities. This property has everything- wonderful updated rooms, close proximity to town, a gym/spa/steam room, pool and hot tub, a relaxing common room, and a delicious breakfast each day! We can't say enough positives. We loved being so close to town, and able to walk to both shops and the beach. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, as well as sitting on the front porch after our busy day. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend the Nellie to anyone headed to Ogunquit!

Nellie littlefield review stay 7/23-7/26/14

I have now stayed at all 3 of the "OgunquitInns.com" properties-- the Gazebo Inn, 2 Village Square and now the Nellie Littlefield..and can honestly say i will never stay anywhere else when i visit the area, which is at least once annually. Each property boasts its own special charms such as the hilltop vantage point (and pool!) at 2VS, the amazingly luxurious barn rooms at the Gazebo or the charming architecture and unparalled location of the Nellie Littlefield. But all share the same attention to detail and sincere warmth of the caretaking staff.
And then, there are those scones!!

Thank you Tricia and Andrew for everything, we hope to see you again soon!

We stayed in the Turret Room (#6) for four nights this past Thursday through Monday. What a beautiful property and lovely room. The staff was fantastic, accommodating and helpful. The main part of the turret room is completely round and there are three big windows that look down on Shore Road. Others reviewers complained about the noise from the street, but we didn't find this to be an issue at all. While we stayed the weather wasn't fantastic, however we had to run the AC the whole time because even though those three beautiful windows opened, there was only one with a screen. It's impossible to get a cross breeze with one open window. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were nice, but the pillows left a lot to be desired. There were four, two for each of us, but two flat pillows do not equal one nice one. We have stayed at many B&Bs and because our kids are into sports we've stayed at many middle of the road hotels with free breakfasts. The breakfast at the Nellie Littlefield fell right in the middle of these two opposites. Because they were serving upwards of 16 people, breakfast was prepared ahead of time. It was good most days, but not great. The day we had pancakes they were dry and hard on one side from sitting in the warmer. However, it was nice that they served turkey sausage a couple of days as my husband doesn't eat pork. Although I love having fruit with my breakfast, I only ate it on the first day. Have you ever had fruit salad where everything tastes the same? Orangaloupe, that's the flavor. I know it seems like I have a lot of little complaints, but that's exactly what they are: little! If we were going to Ogunquit again, I'd definitely stay at the Nellie Littlefield! My three favourite things: the front porches on the first two levels with comfy rockers--we used these every night, the locations could not have been better unless it was right on the water--but then it wouldn't be affordable, and the sitting pool/hot tub--even though we only got to use it once, it was awesome! If you're considering staying here, don't think about it any longer... book it!

A marvelous stay in a very clean, delightfully comfortable room, delicious, freshly made breakfasts (Oh my the scones!), clean fresh air throughout, friendly 'bend-over-backwards' staff, modern conveniences and spa amenities, plus extra comforts available at a moments request, all snuggled into a stately yet cozy-feeling Victorian beauty set back in a well-groomed, private yard drawing relaxed deep breaths of delight from guests and passersby alike. Mere steps from the heart of Ogunquit, from a beach access walk, and from fine dining and quick eats alike. A wonderfully comfortable stay in a great location, without a doubt. Thank you! We'll be back!

Our stay at the Nellie Littlefield was wonderful, we stayed in the 3rd floor suite which was perfect for us - as long as you don't mind the stairs! We had a lovely private balcony to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The pool area was very relaxing - there is a small "sitting" pool and a jacuzzi, with where you can bask in the sunshine or relax in a shady area. The breakfast was very good, we had the opportunity to sit on the porch to enjoy our breakfast every day. Trisha was super - she is the perfect "hostess" for this property, we also found Andrew to be very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, it took no more than 7 minutes to walk to the beach and the inn even has carts, coolers, umbrellas and beach chairs available for you to use! I really liked having the ability to walk everywhere in town and to Perkins Cove. I would definitely return!
