This was a wonderful setting to kick back and enjoy the spectacular Maine Mid-Coast. I very much appreciated the limited number of people on this beach.

Quiet, out of the way, with beautiful views!
Our resort recommended this location for swimming in the ocean. I'm so glad we went, although it was rather difficult to find if one is not familiar with the area. Rt. 1 through me for a bit of a loop, as it winds through town in a round about sort of way.

This is a very pretty beach. No sunbathing/sandy beach, but there are rocks to lay/sit on. There are a couple trails you can take, too. There are a few picnic benches in the shade so you could make a day of it.

Ive been coming to this beach for 30 plus years and never had a bad experience. It's usually very clean and the people friendly. Its in a small harbor of sorts so you don't really have to worry about rough water if you plan on bringing your kids. There are also great tide pools to check out. Get there early though because parking is at a premium
