The only place on the island to get breakfast and bevable to sit down. Wide selection of choices and very fresh pastry and croissants.

Stopped in for lunch while touring the island. I thought it would be a home cooking kind of place, but they are trying to be something different. I ordered a sandwich and a side, and I was hungry when I left. Food was just OK. I am surprised at all the 5's

After reading many reviews I had to check this out on our trip to Peaks. Coffee, great homemade pastries (oh, those cinnamon rolls.....) and good sandwiches and chowder make this a great daily stop while vacationing. The owner couldn't be nicer and made us feel at home.

This is the island's stop for coffee and pastries in the morning. They don't have anything fancy like espressos, cappuccinos, or lattes, just several good coffees, and real half-and-half and milk on ice, not those awful little plastic containers. They have a variety of sodas and water as well. The morning pastries are scrumptious: chocolate croissants, raspberry croissants, strawberry danishes, big cinnamon rolls. At noon they have pretty good sandwiches too. They also have spinach and feta wrapped in a croissant. They make good lobster rolls, in addition.

Cons: There is long somewhat disorganized line in the morning, there's not much place to wait, and it's tiny with little seating. There is more seating outside, in the back and the front, where your dog can sit with you. They do seem to run out of things quickly.
