“VERY hard to find!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

While sitting on a rock looking out toward the Falls and soaking in the scenery, I thought that THIS is what I thought Maine would look like. Very peaceful. VERY hard to find. I had directions from TA but one road (Church St) didn't have a sign. Luckily, it felt like I should turn there. Look for handmade signs reading "Falls".

“Settle in at Reversing falls park”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

This is a wonderful and infrequently visited park. The reversing falls are the biggest that we saw anywhere in the region. It's a very small park, but only short (less than 0.5 mile) trails to various vantage points of the falls. In fact, you really only need to park your car in the right place, or walk 100 yards or so to see the falls. So the best way to enjoy this park is to plan for a picnic- show up a few hours before high tide, enjoy some home made lobster rolls, and settle in with the family, friends, and dogs to take in the scene.
One issue: if you are looking for this park from points south, do not follow google maps directions as these will lead you onto a 4WD only road. Instead, be sure to enter Pembroke before turning south to the park on (mostly) paved roads.

“Secluded, peaceful.”
Reviewed 13 August 2013

I traveled to Reversing Falls to hunt for the three caches hidden here. Two of the caches are physically there and one is an Earthcache that is an Earth Science lesson. We traveled over dirt and paved roads exploring along the way. I enjoyed seeing the falls in relative solitude. It is a good place to bring a chair, settle in and read a book as you watch the falls change over time.

“Beautiful place.”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

Quite secluded. We received directions from the Cobscook Campgroud which is where we were staying. Not many people there. Great for wildlife pictures. No entrance fee. It's a very, very short hike to the two viewing spots. Amazing and totally worth the stop.
