We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Brasteds down the road. The twin room was lovely. Nice soft beds, lovely view, tea and coffee sachets with a kettle. Lots of wardrobe space. Sue and Bruce were extremely helpful and welcoming, even taking us back to Brasteds to pick up our car the next day. The breakfast was wonderful. Full English with homemade jams and marmalades, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. The gardens are lovely as is the spacious clean house. Would recommend this to anyone.

THis was one of our best B & B experiences. Sue and Bruce were very welcoming and helpful. THe house is spacious, immaculately clean and well set up. The room was warm and light, plenty of private lounge space downstairs with lovely fire. Excellent breakfast. Sue went out of her way to help us to find somewhere local to eat. We would definitely come back again.

My parents and I travelled to Norwich for a family celebration and stayed with Sue & Bruce Wellings who were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The Old Rectory is a beautiful and spacious family home in Framingham Earl located next to St. Andrew's Church so it was very convenient for us. It is, in my opinion, an absolute hidden gem and we are certainly very grateful to relatives who suggested it!!

We arrived on a cold Saturday evening and were immediately ushered in by Sue and her husband to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Old Rectory. They were absolutely lovely to us throughout our stay!

The rooms are big and very tastefully decorated with plenty of space for luggage, clothes etc. Gorgeous, large bathroom with both shower and bath facilities. Downstairs is a large dining room and living room, both big, comfortable and relaxing.

In the morning, we all agreed that we slept very well in the large, cozy beds.
We went down for breakfast at 8am (a time we had pre-arranged with Sue for our convenience) which was very generously portioned. Orange juice and coffee followed by a full fry up - eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. A wide variety of cereals, yoghurts and fruit was also available. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room, looking out onto a picture-postcard idyllic snow-covered garden (I'm sure it must be gorgeous during every season).

Our stay at the Old Rectory, although short, was a tranquil, relaxing and very enjoyable one and I cannot recommend this B&B and Sue & Bruce any more higly. We will definitely be coming back and next time, hopefully, for a longer period!

Not to be confused with other hotels also called 'The Old Rectory' in
Nowich, this is a Bed and Breakfast 5 miles outside Norwich in a village
called Framington Earl.

This B+B is outstanding. The rooms were gorgeous, the grounds
fantastic, the breaksfasts delicious and best of all were the hosts who were
super friendly and for whom, nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly
recommend this B+B to anyone.
