I haven't been here in over 20years. It is completely different now. There are tons of shops. A lot are pretty unique, Great restaurant of all different kinds of food. Love that the streets surronding this area are all restored buildings and cobblestone walkway. You can feel and see all the history around you. Just a fun place to hang out for the weekend. I live in Boston and our waterfront in my opinion is not half as nice. Its too modern and expensive. Parking in Portland is very cheap. We paid $5 for the whole day. We did not get to eat at the restaurant of our choice since it was busy. But where we ended up was just as good. We are already planning our next trip back.
