Went here for lunch. I had one fish taco great fresh Pollock, which had a nice tasting chipotle mayo and avocado. Also had one steak taco with rajas which was a little bland. Rice and beans were good. Fried plantains were enjoyable. Place is my kind of divey place, colorfully decorated.

Menu has Mexican standards as well as some special treats - the pork tacos with pineapple salsa were very yummy. The service was slow (waiter said it was because the restaurant was full but two tables that came in after us got their food about 10 minutes sooner) and not especially friendly. Outside tables were great on a fall day.

The restaurant is casual and close to the waterfront. Dining outdoors was fun and comfortable. We had fast and attentive service. The snakebite 'mojito' has an interesting jalapeño bite. Tacos are small (so get 2) but tasty. Don't miss the corn on the cob - it is really special.

Stopped for take out but loved the atmosphere so wish I had had time to stay. Got the taco plate with 1 fish taco and 1 bean taco. The flavors and texture complemented each other perfectly--crunchy, smooth, tart, spicy, all in one bite! Fresh herbs generously sprinkled throughout and a flawless, perfectly ripe slice of avocado topped it off with perfection. Believe it or not, though, the real star here was the drink menu. I had a citrus hibiscus drink (non alcoholic) that was phenomenal- just the right combination of tart and sweet, and truly unique. They had other options involving cucumbers, mint, and other concoctions, which I can't wait to try next time.
