15 "Excellent", 20 "Good", 7 "Avg", 5 "Poor", 4 "Terrible...and they're all right. Tells you something, doesn't it? Usually I'd find fault with such a myriad of reviews - needless to say all over the map - but not here. Here I find a "happy" Happy Hour - great drinks at a great price - and between the happy hour food and the food which is ordered, it's OK (nothing more than average in my opinion). The service (and attitude)...well...that depends. I've found most of the people who work there to be pleasant and professional (especially the bartenders). I wish I could say that's true of all the people there, but it's not. A few of the servers definitely have an attitude - and it's not a positive one either - but maybe that stems from the owner (Lee Harding) who never seems to smile and exude anything of a positive nature? The apple doesn't fall far from the trees here. Definitely a mixed bag....

We've been to the Corner Room twice now. The first time we were early and in time for happy hour. Very friendly staff and a lively bar with good choice of draft beer and prosecco and certain wines included. The salads were excellent. The mussels, an appetizer, were very bland, though cooked perfectly they cried out for garlic and wine or both. The antipasti special was full of meats but cheese but lacking vegetables. Their cold meats which they make themselves, are very mild, thus not very tasty. For dinner we had the pork saltimbocca which was very hearty and delicious, though something fairly easy to prepare. The fish on both occasions was not liked. Not very interesting and not always cooked to order. The menu is a bit simplistic, especially the Secondi menu. At any rate, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the waitstaff, and although we would not go again we enjoyed ourselves on both occasions.

I had three vegetarian dishes that were excellent. Would highly recommend when going to the symphony, but you need a reservation. Always packed.

Fresh pasta was terrific, service excellent, and the overall experience had energy, fun, and great food combined.

Love this place. Always sit at the bar and have an amazing time. Finally, the new(est) bartender fox has figured-out that it's easier to read the "specials" list when its TYPESET! Kudos! Marg darlin' love you but yer handwriting stopped around the 3rd grade.
