At $285 per night, this is an ordinary hotel with very unsophisticated service. It starts with the valet service, that does not offer to open a door, but is there for a tip - $15 valet charge too. For a hotel that plays fancy, you wouldn't expect the greeting at the desk that my wife and I received, "how are you guys?"
The room was small and a peculiar "L" shape, wrinkled bed linens, and a large white refrigerator on top of the writing desk. Not much room for your laptop. The breakfast was poor. Very slow service, overcooked corned beef hash, poached eggs that were hard boiled. The staff everywhere in the hotel need lots of training in customer satisfaction and sophisitication. Stay at the Hampton Inn - you know what you get, the room is better, the breakfast better and it's less than half the price.More
