Place was quite busy on a Friday night…outdoor seating in demand so we dined inside. Friendly staff and quaint bar. They were running out of oysters at around 8 pm but there were plenty of other tasty seafood options. Fresh, local seafood!

We went on the recommendation of our hotel as a place the locals go to. It was hopping when we got there and we had to wait almost an hour for our table even though no one was ahead of us. Then they ran out of oysters before they sat us. We had a lobster and shrimp stir fry special and a lobster roll which were both fine. The best part of the night was our server, very friendly.

Had a short wait, but was worth it! The view on the outside patio was great, and the weather was fantastic with the salty ocean breeze. Kids had the Miane hotdog - which was hot pink! Apparently, this is a Maine thing - and did not affect the flavor at all. Recommend the lobster stew - big meaty chunks of lobster and the broth was very flavorful. Husband had one of the shellsish entrees and he thought it was overcooked. The oysters on the half shell were delicious and the service supreme-o. Recommend!

The bar service was hilarious and accommodating! They had the best beers and the lobster roll was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I hope to come back one day!

It seemed like there were a lot of local people having drinks and eating here--always a good sign. The restaurant is next to the harbor, and while it is far from a "fine dining" atmosphere, they have absolutely fresh and perfectly cooked seafood. Our waitress was so nice. She picked up right away that we "weren't from around there" and gave us a quick lesson on how to properly eat clam steamers. I'm very thankful for that because I could just imagine my husband eating a big spoonful of the clam broth with which you are supposed to wash the clam! One tip: Don't ask for sweet tea anywhere north of Ohio. :)
