Description: TO VIEW OUR CURRENT MENU, please visit our website. The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area and a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests and features a 250 gallon salt water fish tank. Our seafood driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. We pair that with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.

I went there in March and the food was great so I picked the Old Port Sea Grill for our company dinner this June. First the service was great! Second the bar area was also great. However our food was poor at best. Three of us sent our meals back for being over cooked. The seasoning they use on the Cajun was way to much. Not one person in my party of 22 said that the food was good. They have a great wait staff that deserves the same in the kitchen. I probably will not go back!!!

Pleasant location on the front and inside a buzzing ambiance. Decent menu with good range of seafood. Ordered cod which was excellent but portion size of meal a little small for the cost. Would recommend but if spending that sort of money, then go to Street & Co instead.

We love a day at the old port in Portland. There are a number of great restaurants in the old port, but not all of them are open for lunch on a weekday. We found the food well thought through and carefully prepared. In short, tasty. Decent beer selection. Not cheap, but you probably can't go wrong here.

We sat at the bar, our choice, and enjoyed the friendly bar staff. The happy hour oysters were great! The variety was wonderful and service was perfect. Lobster was over cooked but still lobster. Fine fries and Caesar salad. Worth a stop!

We decided to go to this restaurant in spite of the mixed reviews. The service turned out to be quite good. Our waitress was attentive, offered recommendations, and was friendly. The oysters and steak were excellent. The mussels and crab cakes were average. Still a great meal overall. Atmosphere is okay. Felt like mixture of sports bar and elegant restaurant. Not as cozy as we tend to like.
