I am from Maine but lived near Little Ethiopia in Los Angeles for fifteen years. When I decided to move back, one of the first things I did was to search for an Ethiopian restaurant in Portland. I was so pleased to find this one and very excited about trying it as soon as I got back to town. I was sorely disappointed. The food was not particularly good. The vegetables had clearly been frozen and thawed out. The portions were very small. And the prices were two and three times what I was used to paying. AND they charge for Injera bread, which has come complimentary with every Ethiopian dish I have ever ordered in every city in which I have enjoyed it. Such a disappointment, as this is my favorite type of food.
