I reviewed Forks 9 mos ago and gave it a well earned 5...our recent return visit revealed a few potholes in their road to success...it was a summer Monday night so maybe they had the junior varsity working...they were under staffed and our server was woefully undertrained...this is always a bad sign...it is the restaurant's responsibility to at least assure their employees know the fundamentals...the grilled romaine salad was simply excellent...wine by the glass was very good...their bread is to die for...when I asked for the bread to be served with our salad/wine our server informed us that it would be served with dinner and rushed off...steak and frites excellent...lamb very good...swordfish special was in no way special...probably a bad idea to order fish on a Monday ....oh yes, half way through our entree our cold grilled bread arrived!...the evening was not magical-unlike our first visit...where does Forks go from here?...hopefully they address their service issues and stop offering fish as a special on Mondays....the grilled bread was hot and delicious the first time....will the real Forks please stand up?....what say you ownership?

First and foremost, thank you for your candid feedback concerning your recent visit. No business is capable of raising their level of execution without listening to their customers. We have already reviewed your comments with our team and have assessed our current procedures to identify how any lapses might occur. We apologize that this visit was not up to your or our standards… It appears we were in fact short a server the evening of your visit, no doubt that was a factor in your experience. I regret not being able to address your issues at the time in order to have a better understanding of the details and attempt to immediately rectify the situation. Should you care to discuss that in more detail you may reach me directly at kup@forksintheair.com Be assured it is our intention and objective to exceed our customers expectations on each of their visits, I hope we have the opportunity to re-earn your business.

Definitely order the Mac and Cheese! We were seated by the kitchen because we didn't have a reservation, however, great food, great service and pleasant atmosphere.
