We were thoroughly charmed by this hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and relaxing. The inn has charming details like a library and comfortable den and patio areas. The hosts were welcoming and very accommodating. We had a great time!

Room Tip: Rooms on the third floor are quieter

We are so happy you had a great time at The Lindsey. That is so important to us and Carla and Gary work very hard to make sure everyone enjoys their time with us. Come back soon!

Truly a special and unique place to stay! It’s conveniently located walking distance from the ferry terminal and the shops and restaurants in town. My room was decorated nicely, clean and my bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in Rockland.

The Lindsey Hotel, just a short stroll from vibrant, downtown Rockland, is the ideal place to stay while enjoying one of Maine’s most scenic coastal towns. Upon entering the Inn, the amiable innkeepers, Carla and Gary, greet you and immediately let you know that, during your stay, the Inn is “your home.” The furnishings and decor in the Inn’s common areas, which are quintessentially New England, only work to underscore the Inn’s homey vibe. There is a comfortable sitting area, a cozy reading nook, and a common breakfast area, all of which are ideal areas to sit, relax, and take in your inviting surroundings. At night, romantically lit with strings of overhead lights, the outdoor sitting area is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine and one of the many board games available at the Inn. The rooms are immaculately clean and the bedding is exceptionally comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lindsey Hotel, and can’t wait to visit again during our next trip to Rockland!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Lindsey. Rooms were spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. We had a large desk, sitting area with wine glasses, and small refrigerator. The hosts were friendly and accommodating to any need. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of all the shops in town and the Farnsworth Museum. Breakfast was delicious and served hot to the table. She is an excellent cook and varied the menu during our stay from fresh blueberry pancakes to cheese eggs. Highly recommend!

This was a very nice place to stay. It's unique quality is of an old Sea Captain's home with it's nautical charm dating back to 1835. The lovely pleasant Inn Keepers, Carla and Gary, helped to make our stay feel just like home. We loved dining with the other guests and getting to visit and know a little about them and their travels. Our bedroom had a quaint ambiance. It was also spacious, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. The location is within walking distance to the Harbor and many town attractions such as the Farnsworth Museum, shops and wonderful places to eat. We hope to go back for more weekend get a-ways.
