The ocean view in itself is reason enough to stay in this motel.
Beside this, the room was vast and impeccably clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the pool very pleasant and the homemade pastries a nice surprise.
Also, the motel is ideally located to explore the region, especially the amazing Monhegan Island.
We will recommend it and, hopefully, come back for a stay during fall.

This hotel was wonderful, the view was gorgeous from our balcony. The hotel was immaculately clean and the room was very spacious, with nice new linens & towels. Our room was just a queen bed room but it felt like a suite with a coffee maker, mini fridge, and double sinks, one inside the room and another in the bathroom. To us it felt more like a mini-apartment, and I could have easily stayed there very comfortably for a week. Even though it was close to the main road it was quiet, with the fresh Maine air, and birds chirping. But waking up to the view was so relaxing to the mind and the soul. It is very near Camden center by car, and in the other direction you have Denny's a Pizza Hut, and a few other restaurants for a quick bite....Ledges by the Bay was lovely and I would not hesitate to stay there again....and it would be for a longer stay because we loved it!

Like the setting and the proximity to the coastal villages of Camden, Linconville, Rockland. Room has a nice view. Very good size room, large bathroom and very clean. Housekeeping staff did a nice job. In room wifi is excellent. The front office could use an upgraded look and better service. They didn't have area maps! The breakfast food could include healthy options. Still recommend this property.
