Our first time in Acadia and after a day of sightseeing, an early dinner at the Jordan Pond House was the perfect ending. The waitress explained that the restaurant had recently changed hands and she was unfamiliar with some of the menu when I asked for a recommendation, but she did share what popular orders were. Our table had the lobster role, chicken sandwich, and BLTT. Of course we all had to have the popovers (puffed bread which we filled with butter and jam). We tried the fresh squeezed lemonade (with blueberry). They served it with sugar water on the side. The fresh squeezed fruit was super tart and the sugar water was definitely needed. We ate outdoors and enjoyed the view and awesome weather.
