Our stay in the Farmhouse at South-West Harbor was a great experience. We were seven in the house: the grand-parents (my wife and I), my two daughters, my son-in-law and my two grand-daughters. There was ample room for everyone and needless to say that the two kids stayed on the third floor enjoying the view. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and we enjoyed dining using the multiple plates and glasses available. The owners live next door and were extremely helpful.
We used a lot the book prepared by the owners and particularly enjoyed the boat trip to Frenchboro, which departs from Bass Harbor (5 min drive). It's worth it!
It was our third visit to Acadia Park and were proud and happy to show it to our children. They loved it.
