We have been vacationing around SW Harbor for over 30 years, and have tried all the local restaurants. Tanya's takeout was a first time visit this year. It is at the rear of a victorian house on Main St. We tried the orange-cranberry scones, slightly toasted, back at our rental. They were excellent-filled with fruit and delicious. We asked if she made cardamon scones like one of the places in Bar Harbor. She asked what kind we liked, and ended saying that she would make cardamon apricot scones the next morning. They were also delicious, and filled with apricots. Her sandwiches in the cooler looked very good and were priced reasonably. She also has hot breakfast and lunch sandwiches, muffins, soups, burritos, coffee, etc. There are nice picnic tables outside the takeout area to sit if you want. Tanya's has moved to the head of our vacation list.
