Sebago Lake Family Campground

Amazing two night stay in one of the cabins after 4th of July weekend! Cabins are equipped with ample space, full kitchens and unbeatable scenery (be sure to request Cabin 6). Guests have access to the private beach across the street to enjoy the clear water of the lake. Very hospitable owners & . convenient location as it is situated between two towns and has a store on site plus a convenience store next door.

We are return customers to Sebago Lake Family Campground. Our family love it here. We come with our grown children, we come with our siblings, we come alone, and, we always have a blast. The owners are so nice and pleasant and welcome us like old friends. Our campsites have always been top notch and we have never had any troubles. The beach is beautiful and clean. It is fun to watch little ones play in the water. Everyone we have encountered have been pleasant. This is vacation when we are here. Keep doing what you are doing. It makes people like us return every year.

We decided to go on a last minute camping trip because the weather was nice. When we got there the owner had three open spots left and let us pick from the three choices. She recommended a site out of the three that was in a more quieter location. We decided on that site. The only thing I did not like about the site was the ground was wet the whole weekend due to lack of sun that hit the area. The space was clean though. Bathrooms were cleaned twice a day and I had no problem with them. The showers were not spotless but what do you expect when you go camping? I brought quarters but then realized you did not have to pay for the showers. The beach was a little dirty with trash, but the water was very clean and a short walk from our site. We went swimming when it was later in the afternoon and more quieter. Overall I had a great time and would go back again :)

After being a part of this campground for many years now and reading some of the reviews, I figured I can add a thing or two to them. Here at camp are friendly people. If you're nice, all is well. So friendly families are welcome! Some days the beach can get loaded with people and personal water craft and that's because this is a well desired and respected area. People come here to have a good time, and if you respect others, are nice, enjoy people, fun and you do want to have a good time, this is the place to be.

Bunch of beached whales!
if you are looking to spend a nice weekend with your family....stay away.
over crowded beach filled with fat I mean fat rude foul mouth college girls and their friends. Drinking from morning to night. Took up half the beach with all their belongings. People on the beach need moo moos....I didnt want my kids to have to see size 4x bikinis or grandma in a bikini too small. The beach is over crowded with jetskis, so dont bother bringing one, or expect to sit on the beach near the water. Bring a first aid kit! prepare to cut your feet in the sand with all the broken beer bottles. The same girls on the beach kept my kids up all night partying and trespassing intoxicated. I dont care if they had a seasonal site, I was a paying customer and obeyed the rules. The beach looks a lot better in the pictures. People play loud music on all areas of the beach and a majority of the people on the beach were smoking. This is not a family friendly camp ground. The owners are so nice, and this place would be so much nicer if they enforced the rules and cleaned out the undesierables. The bathrooms should also be prepared to be condemed.
watch out for kids and adults driving drunk on 4wheelers, dirt bikes, and golf carts. dont let your kids ride their bikes more than 3 feet away from your site for their own safety. Its just not right to advertise Maine camping at its best when this establishment is just really a trashy version of spring break where kids can decorate sand castles with a variety ciggarette butts covering the beach sand. I was very dissapointed.

I booked a cabin here based on their website. I should have known why there were no pictures of the insides of the cabins. Website states cabins are rustic but well-maintained. Their idea of well-maintained is a cabin that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Spider webs in the bathroom, the bathroom fan was so black and didn't work, floor was dirty-no throw rugs to catch the sand that is everywhere. The mattress in the bedroom was stained. The bed in the living area was a murphy bed. The mattress was so hard and uncomfortable, it looked like it was from 1970. The only positive was the short walk to the beautiful lake and beach area. Water is crystal clear. My kids, 11 and 7, loved spending the afternoon there.
