Visited for Sunday roast as expected it to be very good as all their produce in the farm shop is excellent. The roast beef was lovely & tender but the veg were very poor, carrots & parsnips had been roasted to an inch of their lives!(black & very crisp)roast potatoes were ok & red cabbage sweet, there was no green veg at all so the plate wasn't the most colourful.Considering this cafe is inside a farm shop which supplies great veg, this was a big disappointment. Not value for money at £10.50 just for the roast!
We did complain to the waitress who did nothing about the burnt veg, just brought us more red cabbage!
On a more positive note, after telling the on site butcher about our sad meal he told the Manageress & she produced a complimentary voucher for £5 when I paid for the produce from the shop.
