Clean, quiet, comfortable, & cared-for.

These are innkeepers who know how to create a restful experience for the guest (ahhhhh.....)

So much more peaceful than 9 out of 10 recent B&B experiences here in Maine.

We did a one night pit stop here on our way north to PEI. Place is in good order, clean and we had a nice room. Breakfast is self serve in the kitchen available to you all the time. The owners choose to make themselves invisible here, a little odd but not really a problem. Located near Colby college were we visited the art museum and had a nice time. Walking distance to downtown which was nice to explore. Best meal of our 14 day vacation was unexpectedly found in town at 18 Down Restaurant.

Planes, trains and automobiles was the problem. Location is on a busy street that doesn't quiet down much at night, train tracks in the rear with at least one train during the night and low fling aircraft. I am one of those people who is a light sleeper so closing the windows and turning on the loud AC unit didn't help. I always travel with ear plugs and sleep aids and I was able to get some sleep. My wife didn't notice any of the noise, she could sleep through a blast off.

Room Tip: I would say get a room in the back away from the street but the train tracks are in the back.

Had a great stay at this nice B&B which was walking distance to downtown Waterville. Nestled in town, the rooms were quiet, extremely clean, the kitchen was spacious and can be used for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is provided and space is convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you find your self in Waterville, ME looking for a quiet comfortable Inn.

Need I say more? The Pleasant Street Inn is just that - a lovely old wooden house on Pleasant St in central Waterville, ME. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds excellent, and the place is kept immaculate. Breakfasts are superb. The whole house has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. B&Bs really don't get any better than this. Can't wait to go back.

We had some of our best nights sleep here. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We could not here street noise or other guests. The breakfast were a very elaborate 'continental style' with lots of choices. The Inn is also very centrally located about 2 minutes from the town centre.
We never saw the hosts but there are plenty of messages about on how to use the inn. Local information was also provided - such as restaurants and walks to take.

Was just in town for a concert and picked this due to the reviews and the proximity to downtown Waterville. We arrived to find that although no one was around, they had left our key, a copy of the receipt and the instructions where to find the room. A short time later the owner arrived, apologized for being out and made sure we had everything we needed.
The room was every clean, spacious and all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was surprisingly great the next morning. Very fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and delicious coffee.
I would highly recommend this for anyone in the area. Well done guys!

Room Tip: #6 is the king with full bath, Very nice.

Lovely stay. Found this B&B on trip advisor. The only B&B in Waterville. Absolutely perfect. Interior and exterior were darling. Hardwood floors, white crown moldings, 100 percent cotton linens, coverlets and quilts. Very clean and new. Quintessential Maine. Breakfast was bagels, yogurt, granola and fruit. Would have loved an egg dish, and I'm sure they would have prepared if we would have asked. (We made a reservation two hours before we arrived). We stayed just for a night before an interview and tour with Colby college. If our daughter attends, this is our B&B of choice. A wonderful addition to Waterville.
