We had lunch earlier this week while in Waterville. Had not been there for several years. It was as good as I remember. The turkey dinner was very tasty, the meatloaf was tasty and the fish chowder was excellent. Barbara our server did a great job. Plan to return soon!

we went and had supper (dinner) at Governor's and we enjoyed it very much . The waitress was very well informed on all the dishes that were on the menu. She even made suggestions on what to eat.

Decent prices. Specials can be super values. Portions always big. Decent food. It can get a bit loud, but overall a good place for families.

Perfect Lemon Pie! Wide variety of choices on the menu! Huge servings. Great Cole Slaw. This is Mid Maine home style cooking. Interesting people watch. Staff needs some additional training.

A bit over two years ago my wife and I ate at Governor's and was disappointed with our meal and said so in my Trip Advisor Review. The Guest relations Manager replied to my review and offered to basically let us have a second meal on Governor's. This month we were finally able to get to Waterville around meal time and went to their restaurant.
Quite a difference this time. Food was pipping hot and very tasty. Well worth the return visit...thank you Govenor's.
