“Little Getaway”

Karen and Fred were great and friendly hosts of this little inn right by Hwy 1. I had email exchanges with Karen several of times prior our visit due to the possible late arrival. Karen ensured she would remain open if we would be arriving late but at last we managed to arrive early.
I found our room was clean and cozy, we liked the wood flooring and the quilt bedding. It would be nice if there was a microwave inside the room so we could heat up the left over Long Island duck we brought from the banquet. Also the stopper inside the bathtub was out of order, I could not take a bubble bath.
Other than that, the location of the inn was close to all the main attractions nearby. The price was affordable for the budget travellers. The pool was nice for a morning swim.
We would consider to stay at this little inn on our next visit but we would request the room on the corner upstairs facing the road, that has extra window makes the room brighter and it has flat screen TV and a microwave.

The Seacoast Motel is the perfect location for beach access in Maine and NH. There are plenty of other things to do nearby as well and lots of great restaurants too. The outside is beautifully landscaped with flowers,my favorite are the roses. There is a good size pool well maintained and clean, comfortable rooms. The owners Fred and Karen are extremely friendly and go the extra mile in everything they do.It is a warm and friendly place to be. Fred and Karen are tops in customer service.

Clean, bright and well maintained, this motel is convenient to many fine dining establishments and, of course, the ocean beaches. The staff is friendly and the hot shower is better than many higher priced chain motels. It was a comfortable environment and we will surely return.

My mother and I vacation in the area every July, but we were looking for something different 4 years ago. We decided to try the Seacoast, and we were DELIGHTED! Our room was very clean and accessible (mom has bad knees). The pool and property are beautiful. The trollies going north and south stop very close to the property, too! And the hosts...AMAZING PEOPLE! We've gone back 4 years now, and they greet us by name and help with our bags. You couldn't ask for a better vacation! :-)

Room Tip: I don't want to give this up, as we LOVE our usual room! ;-) Just a hint, though...a dozen will...

I have been going to the Wells area for years. What a lot of people don't realize is that September can be fantastic weather and less crowds. The Seacoast Motel is an incredible deal.Great rates aside..,the owners Fred and Karen make you feel extremely at home. They keep the rooms spotless and a great pool in the summer and location is "Prime". The location is actually right on the Wells/Ogunquit line(right on Rte 1). Go left great seafood!,go right more great seafood.,and the beach is only a stone throw from the hotel. You can actually walk down to the footbridge beach. Since I do a lot of traveling I look at it this way! Sure you can spend 300+ a night and be on the ocean and spend very little time in your room since there is so much to do around the area,or pay less than a third of that at the Seacoast Motel and get incredible hospitality and money left for a great seafood platter! For anyone that has never been to Maine this is the nicest area to experience it all, and the Owners will help you plan your day with places to go and explore...A+ (Can't wait to return in May)

My mother and I have been staying at the Seacoast Motel for the past 3 years. We happened to stumble upon the hotel by sheer mistake back in 2010 as we were driving through Wells, ME trying to find a hotel to stay at. Every place displayed a No Vacancy sign, that is until we saw the Seacoast Motel. I can honestly say that finding the hotel was the best mistake we ever made!

The Seacoast is absolutely beautiful! From the second you enter the parking lot you instantly get the sense that this is not your average motel. The owners, Karen and Fred, are two of the nicest people you will truly ever meet in your lifetime. They go above and beyond to assure that your stay with them in a memorable one. Anything you need they will provide to you, whether it's directions, restaurant recommendations, the best beaches to visit in the area, etc.

The rooms are adorable. They have a very "home away from home" feeling to them, and they are always very well kept and clean. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to store all of your luggage, whether it's big or small.

We have extremely enjoyed our stay each and every time we have visited Wells, ME and there is no doubt that when we return in the future, we will definitely be staying at the Seacoast Motel! :)

We have spent 4-5 days this time of year in the Wells, Maine area for probably 20 years. We have stayed in many places, most of them just fine but none of them did we feel any desire to return to the next year for one reason or another. We loved this place and hope to come back next year. The rooms were cozy, homey, very clean and well appointed. We were there last week for 5 nights and paid only $49.00 a night. The pool had just been closed but you can tell it was very well maintained. There was a beautiful rose garden, containers of flowers and nice places to sit out side. The owners live on site and couldn't be more helpful and sincerely friendly. My only criticism is that mattress was extremely firm, almost uncomfortably so, but perhaps this is just me being used to a pillow top. There is a restaurant next door if you chose not to get back in your car to go for dinner.
