We stayed 2 nights and were satisfied, so we reserved a room for a week ahead on our way back. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was ample. However, our plans changed so that it was no longer convenient to go through Wells. Six days ahead we called to cancel and were told the policy is that you have to cancel SEVEN days in advance to get a refund. We asked every other motel and none had such a policy. We couldn't afford to lose our money, but it totally changed our feelings about this place.
