Service was good, atmosphere was wonderful and the food was okay but the desserts were delicious! Everything is homemade!

Beautiful location and recommended by a nearby shopkeeper. 6:00 on a Friday night of Labor Day weekend and the patio was closed already? Really? It was suggested we try the bar side (Pub) patio, which did have tables and a lovely view of the river... and NOT too cold, like the hostess claimed was the reason the other patio was closed. The barmaid had to cover drink orders for the entire crowded dining room, plus serve patrons on the pub side, so we hardly ever saw her. She greeted us nicely, gave us menus and took drink orders but then came back twice to deliver things to another table on the patio without bringing our drinks. She was pleasant though and apologized when she remembered us. We ordered 2 cups of their haddock chowder--one of which came with the lobster roll special. I liked the chowder, my husband did not. He also does not think it's possible to get decent cole slaw in Maine. We also liked the lobster roll--especially the bread it was on. Had more mayonnaise and fixins than the one at Red's next store but it wasn't bad....

We passed through beautiful Wiscasset on the way up the coast to Camden and stopped here for lunch. YUM. I was tired of seafood and ordered a delicious blue cheese burger. Everyone at my table loved their entrees and the watertown views were spectacular. There's a gift shop within and bar, but it's definitely got a "down-home" décor/feel happening. Don't pass it by!
It's right on the railroad line, too if you are a railfan. You won't be disappointed!

We enjoyed our lunch at Sarah's, starting with our waitress who was friendly and helpful. Crab and haddock was excellent and the lobster roll was the best. Topped off by great blueberry pie. Don't miss the blueberry lemonade!
