Excellant chef/owner that was offered the chef's position at the Woodlands Country Club. Our loss and their gain.

“Seagrass offers gourmet in a laid back and casual atmosphere and is GF friendly!”
Reviewed 31 March 2013

Stephanie offers about half her menu as gluten free every night. She changes menus very few weeks. The staff has been with her a long time making this a truly friendly experience with knowledgeable service. Delicious steaks, and fantastic seafood. Stephanie is classically trained and worked at the Ritz Carlton in Boston. She did my entire 50th birthday party for 40 GF start to finish!

The space is wide open so it can be a little loud.

“Looks suburban eats urban”
Reviewed 30 January 2013

Salmon on a bed of spinach was perfectly prepared and served the moment it was ready to eat. Excellent service. Fair prices for excellent cooking and ingredients. Chef/owner was on the grill. Convivial dining room in a great location off 295 and Route 1.

“MEDIOCRE AND DISAPPOINTING”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

This venue has every opportunity to be a special place north of Portland. But it is not. The bar is nice, but the food is average at best. Very little flavor, no creativity, and subpar ingredients. (The steak, despite local purchasing options, was not local or grass fed, e.g.) Potatoes tasted like something one would get at Dennys. Bland and unimaginative. Service was not particularly friendly. There is a simple remedy to this restaurant's problem. HIRE A TALENTED CHEF. We will not return to this place unless we are informed that something has changed.

“You Have to Eat Here”
Reviewed 31 October 2012

I can't express how wonderful the Chef is at this restaurant, only about a 10 minute drive from The Brewster House, it was Absolutely Amazing! The whole dining experience from start to finish could not have been any better. Plan to spend at least $150 for 2 people but worth every penny!
