We looked this place up on Yelp in Denver, CO because we were going to Boston and wanted to drive up the coast of Maine and eat lobster. This was a trip my daughter and I planned when she was little and it happened last weekend. We had lobster in Maine and we were not disappointed. We ordered the 3 lobster special and onion rings to start. The plate of onion rings was huge and the lobster cooked to perfection. The owner ended up giving us another ear of corn and another lobster just because we came all the way to eat at his place. WOW talk about customer service. Very friendly staff and owner just a great place to eat and have conversation. Several quests that were staying in the area made a point to tell the staff that they would be back every chance they got while they were in the area. Also they serve real butter with the lobster not that oil crap. So put on your bib and have a feast you will not be disappointed!

I had the lobster stew which was very good. My friend had the fish tacos with french fries, a special at $7.95. One of the specials was 3 lobsters with an ear of corn, $25.95. Order at the counter and it is served to you.
Heard good comments from repeat customers.

We just left the restaurant. Completely full and satisfied. Whole belly clam dinner $19.95 totally worth it. Tons of clams, perfectly breaded and fried with fries and coleslaw. Highly recommend these.
Lobster roll $14.95 with chips, toasted roll and plenty of lobster.
Cup clam chowder. Lots of clams, nice flavor, not quite as thick as others but still very good.
The staff were super friendly, very accommodation and amused kids with lobsters.
Cute little tables with red and white checkerboard tablecloths. Nothing fancy. Simple lobster establishment.
Today's special was 3 lobsters with corn on cob for $24.95. They were selling fast and customers were recommending.
This is a new find for us and we are so glad we decided to stop. We have now added as one of our must eats in Maine!

The others are right, this place is fantastic. The lobster stew and seafood chowder are better than mine, and mine are good. Finally, a place that serves real lobster stew instead of the cheapo substitute bisque. And it has tail meat too! The few places that do serve stew, never add tail meat to it. The prices are wonderful and the food is not greasy at all. Even the chicken fingers are better than the standard generic ones that are the same everywhere. They did bring our food to us, but the girl forgot one of our drinks. Since it isn't a full service restaurant we had to go back up to ask for it, but the food and prices outshadowed that irritation.

Two small criticisms: the fries are those batter coated things that seem to be so popular lately. Fries are bad enough for you as it is without adding batter. I prefer traditional unadulterated fries. And the cutesy "lobstah" spelling, trying to play with our New England accent. Lots of places do this occasionally, and no doubt the least common denominators out there find it all quaint and everything, but if you are a native New Englander and do speak like that, it gets to be somewhat irritating and just downright childish, especially when it's repeated ad nauseum throughout the entire menu; lobstah, chowdah, poundah, buttah...... give it a break folks! The tourists will come for the food alone, no need to play to their giddy foolishness.

I love that this place will be open all winter. I'll do my part to see that it's worth their while. I just hope that everyone who is ecstatic about the price of the 3 lobster special realizes that it can be offered because lobster prices are at an all time low. Don't start griping next year when they go up that they are now trying to gouge you after they first lured you in with low prices.

Fantastic menu! Fried clams and lobster are some of the best we've had in New England. We went for dinner tonight and will return for lunch tomorrow. Very affordable... Three large lobsters served with corn for $19.99. Everything was incredibly fresh and cooked to order. Don't miss this one!!!
