Beautiful views, near a park easy access, parking was not good! We and everyone else had to park on busy 2 lane road. But so worth it

This beach is big. If you want room to roam, go here. If you want entertainment and food, go to shortsands beach. This beach always looked cold to me. Some spots are loaded with seaweed, then a few yards down, their is none. It is fun to drive by and look. Maybe stop to look for shells. But we spend our time at Short Sands and Wells Beach as opposed to here.

Good stretch of beach to enjoy the best of Maine with a fantastic view of the Nubble Lighthouse... Parking is challenging so get there early.

The beach was very cute. They dont have a boardwalk, but they have a strip of stores and even penny candy in one which bought me back. The food was good. The water was a little colder than I am used to being from Jersey beaches but it was still very nice. There was even a wedding going on which was really cool to see. I would def go back and Lobster restaurants were everywhere.

My family had a house here growing up and I have always loved this beach. You need to get there by 9:00 in the morning to get a parking spot (bring plenty of quarters - .25 cents gets you 15 minutes). When the tide is out you can walk quite a ways on the hard sand beach. They have a bath house with changing room/bathrooms. There are plenty of places to grab a drink, and food or walk down to the center (about a mile).
