My husband and I stayed at the York Harbor Inn for a few days in August. We've been there before and love the Inn, the pub and the restaurant. We thought we'd try the Chapman Cottage since it was new. Very disappointed. The Inn had advertised half price happy hour drinks and complimentary snacks at Chapman Cottage. there was no mention of either once we arrived. We were told we could only sit on one side of the porch if we were just ordering drinks. Of course the side we were allowed to sit on was directly in the sun on a very hot day. We ended up ordering food just so we could move under an umbrella. (There was only one other couple there at the same time as us so it's not like space was limited.) The food was good, but they offered only "small plates" so I would not come here for dinner. Drinks were also good but very expensive. Overall, not a great experience and I don't think we will return.
