Description: Our first full service restaurant in Montgomery County is located on the corner of Arlington and Elm Streets in Bethesda Row. The design with walls of mahogany -like woods, floor to ceiling lanterns, custom made tile and zebra wood table lends to a warm and cozy setting. Seasonal outdoor dining and private rooms are also available.

Was pleasantly surprised with the excellent wine served with our meal. The service was friendly and professional.

We shared two mezza platters with nine small dishes. The waiter suggested we have mixed kebap after we finished the two platters. The lamb kebap were very tender and cooked perfectly. The chicken kebap were also perfect.

This corner restaurant in Bethesda, MD has hip, trendy decor, but mediocre food. If you are very familiar with middle eastern cuisine, this food will not measure up. Surprisingly, on a quiet Monday evening, they were out of many options. I had a falafel which was disturbingly dry. The falafel balls themselves were good, but they were wrapped up in a large soft bread with out any of the gooey, drippy fixins you find in most places. The side salad was excellent, with lettuce tomato and cucumber - nicely dressed - but some of that stuff should have been in the falafel wrap. The Lebanese sampler, which the table shared as an appetizer was good, served with a large basket of fresh pita - some whole wheat - a nice touch.

Very friendly wait staff, excellent food, good atmosphere. Food came in a timely manner.

Only issue- went on a Saturday night and was busy and staff seemed to have some problems keeping up with the fast pace - i.e.- waiter who was super nice was running hard between tables and bathroom was a mess- as if no one had looked at it for hours. Other than that, I would recommend.

I had the chicken fatouzh (I'm not sure I'm spelling it correctly), and it was incredibly good, the best meal I've had in years. I'm not someone who raves about food, but this was worth traveling to taste. Price was more than fair for the quality.

Recently lunched with friends on a busy fall Sunday. we tried various appetizers including hummus (v good as expected) and Halloumi cheese, also very well done. My salmon was cooked just right and the sides or in this case unders, we're also tasty. Friends had a meat sandwich which looked and smelled excellent as well. Generous portions did not detract from food quality. Nice atmosphere and very helpful friendly wait staff.
