Stayed at the Hilton while visiting my son who lives in Bethesda. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time at the hotel other than, shower, sleep and breakfast. The bed was comfy and the room was nice. We booked the 3 in one deal which included, hotel stay, parking, and breakfast. Great value. The buffet was full, fresh and clean. We ordered a made to order entree which was french toast on an artisian bread with fresh berries, it took a few extra minutes but was worth the wait. Yummy! The location is near an aray of restaurants and bars. We will definetly book here again

I chose this hotel from reviews on Tripadvisor and was extremely happy with the choice. After driving for eight hours with my son, I was happy that it was easy to find and had a great location very close to the subway for getting into Washington. The included breakfast buffet was excellent with made to order choices. The room was very nice, easy WiFi access and the bathroom was lovely. The only negative comment I can make is that the pool is really just a large hot tub.

We arrived and no one was available to help us in with our luggage. No front desk person, and there were 3 on duty even left their posts to help us. Room typical of a Hilton Garden, which we have stayed in before. Clean, neat, updated TV, etc.

Don't visit the restaurant. We did and had dinner. The silverware was dirty. So we took the napkin covered silverware from neighboring tables and found them to equally dirty. We cleaned them with our napkins and water at the table. The food was overdone, the waiteress was AWOL for most of the meal.

I guess it is a reasonable choice but next time in Bethesda will stay elsewhere.

Checked into room 509 (King) for 2 nights. Friendly check-in and they helpfully allowed us to take the room early.
Our first time in a HGI - found it OK and as advertised. The room decor looked a little dull and dated in daylight (strangely it looked nicer at night with the lights on) but it was clean and comfortable. Bed was good, desk chair was good, microwave and fridge was helpful. Free wireless internet was reasonably fast.
On arrival we found that the padlock key for our case was locked inside the case ! Hotel maintenance attended quickly and cut off the lock after all attempts to open it failed.
Didn't use other hotel facilities (pool, restaurant) as this was merely a base for DC tourism. In that regard the hotel is close to the Metro (red line) - 20 mins down to DC central area. At US 125 room only it seemed a good value for weekday in DC.
In summary ; no complaints, would book again. It is "as advertised" and the service is friendly.

My family and I stay here every time we come to DC. It's the best value in Bethesda, very clean with exception service, and it is a short walk to the DC Metro. All of downtown Bethesda is a few short blocks away as well. The only downside to this hotel is the lack of bigger rooms like one bedroom suites. When traveling with a todler or baby, it's nice to have a seperate room for naps etc...

Room Tip: Only one type of room in the hotel....
