Short Walk to the Metro, Staff was very friendly. The 3 in 1 package deal was perfect for us. It included room, breakfast each morning, and parking in the garage attached to the hotel. Bethesda has many restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. There is also a free circulator bus running in the downtown area.

This was a one-night stay. Arrived late on friday evening, Oct. 29. Check-in was swift. Room was very well appointed. Sleek modern decor, and spotless. Bed was very comfortable, but I did not remember to play with the firmness adjustment until morning. Very large flat screen tv was nice. Room also featured a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Wifi was free in the room. Full line of Neutrogena toiletries are provided. Very conveniently located to the Bethesda metro station, and two Starbucks within two blocks (different directions). This was a quick trip - in and out for the rally in DC on the 30th - but if I need a place to stay for my next DC visit, this was a great option.

This hotel is tucked away in Bethesda. It's within a couple of blocks of the Metro, good restaurants, and it's WAY cheaper than DC. The people who work in the hotel are extremely nice, the rooms are quiet and clean, and definitely worth a return visit.

We stayed at this property Oct. 14th - 17th during on a mini trip to see D.C. sites. They had a three in one package that included breakfast, parking, and room making this a good deal for a hotel close to the metro. The metro (red line) was about three blocks away and a 20 minute ride to Union Station.

Breakfast was OK, and nice to have incuded with the room. I would have been extremely disappointed with it though if I had to pay $13 for it, the retail price and probably would have walked to McDonalds down the street instead. Rooms were clean with nice desk and chair and another chair and had a mini frig and microwave (standard Hilton Garden Inn rooms). I slept fine, but beds were firmer than I like. I thought beds at other Hilton Garden Inns and Hampton Inns I've stayed at in the US were more comfortable.

Like all HGI, there is a little mini store where you can pick up snacks, drinks, basic drug store items, etc. which is nice.

All in all, if you don't mind a 20 minute metro ride to save some money, this is a decent choice for Washington D.C. touring.

This hotel is outstanding in cost & location. No complaints. Clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff, onsite restaurant, also many very reasonable and good restaurants with in a few blocks. Easy ride on the metro to all the DC Mall area sites. Metro is 2 blocks from hotel. Beds have wool mattress tops and adjust from firm to soft.. The rooms have a microwave and small fridge. The neighborhood is safe and clean. Also free use of hotel computers and printer.

We stayed in this hotel for a week, since my partner was working in Bethesda for a few days. I was free to explore DC and the wider area :-)

The hotel ticked all of the main boxes - it was very clean, reasonably priced, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. Air con in the room worked well (given that it was so hot outside), and the maid and restaurant staff were brilliant. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the Bethesda Metro stop, and so has easy access in to DC, as it only takes 20 minutes or so to get to Union Station, right next to the Capitol.

Some of the reception staff were not particularly interested when you were standing waiting for assistance, and could do with a refresher course in customer service. Don't get me wrong - they weren't rude, just not that interested and welcoming.

Overall, a good place to stay. Bar and restaurant were good, room service less so.

My daughter and I stayed here while searching for an apartment for her to live. We stayed 3 nights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet except the last night when a neighboring room had a child throwing a tantrum. (one of those exceptions) The hotel is in a great location - close to a Metro station and just a couple blocks from a great selection of restaurants and shopping. Our stay included breakfast in the morning which was a very nice buffet with both hot and cold choices. The wait staff in the breakfast area were friendly but needed to work on their efficiency a bit - little slow clearing tables. We also used the business center to print our boarding passes and tickets to a Nationals Game - really handy! I definitely would stay here again.
