An employee at our hotel recommended this restaurant.
All I can say is that it was disappointing. The waiter seemed nice enough, telling us numerous times "I'm here to make you happy", but then he would disappear and we wouldn't see him for 20 minutes - this happened more than once. We had to ask for bread, even though the waiter brought it to the people next to us.
Our 10 year old daughter requested pasta with light butter. It came out swimming in butter, and they tried to charge us $30. for the dish. When I complained, they said they would correct it and lowered the price to $16. They did eventually lower the cost further, but not until we complained to the manager (by that time, we were so disappointed with the lack of service that we were just anxious to get out of there).
I ordered the red curry mussels which had nice flavor, but I thought the menu said they came with french fries (a traditional Belgian touch), They did - except the french fries came 5-10 minutes after they served the mussels and were greasy.
Overall, the food was OK, but the service was definitely not up to par. If it had just been one or two issues, we would have chalked it up to chance, but they just seemed to not give us any real attention.
Maybe this place is OK for local hipsters, but if you're looking for a good family restaurant, steer clear.
