We've lived near Peter's in Bethesda for 6 years and just visited for the first time. Normally we head to the Tastee Diner for a low-key breakfast or pub meal. But we are so glad we found Peter's! There are only 12 seats at the counter, and they are usually filled with regulars and local policemen. From our first visit, Ned made us feel welcome. Everything is cooked up right on the grill in front of you. We've loved everything we've tried- the omlettes at breakfast, gyro, burgers, steak & cheese, and especially the salad which comes out fresh and with a big serving of chicken. Ned makes his own pico & honey mustard dressing- YUM! Ned & family have run the place for years, and it's one of the only charming places left in Bethesda which is now becoming completely overrun by construction. It's the kind of place that you can actually meet your neighbors! And the food is great- salads, sandwiches, etc. all for a reasonable price! The food is 5 star for it's pub-grub genre, and Ned & family really make Peter's special.
