The food is ok, depending on what you get. The service is always great, but the food lacks something. It is just ok and sometimes the flavoring seems off. The prices are sort of expensive for what you are ordering though. The portion are big, but who wants a lot of food they aren't really happy with?

We don't get to TJ Elliott's often, so hopefully this was just a bad night for them. Ordered a hamburger med-rare w/o tomato and got a med-done with tomato instead. Overall food is good but too much on the plates! They do over-plate their food! Aren't they losing money watching the uneaten food go into the garbage. The roast beef dinner was so good, but it had enough to serve two people. However, it was hard to find a potato on the plate. Scale down those servings, but keep serving the well prepared food.

Quick lunch here with friends. Place was busy and staff handled it well. It's along the lines of a Pizza Hut, but with different/better pizza and a larger menu. The pizza is served on what look like cafeteria trays and is square. You can get many combinations of toppings, too.

My son loves the American Comfort Food menu they have as there's meatloaf with mashed potatoes and also meatball sub which he loves. We can also find things we like on this menu such as fish and chips and various salads and some pretty good pizza. The service is very friendly and helpful and they have a full bar in case you want a cocktail with your meal. We've eaten here for Sunday lunch at least twice the past month and found it very satisfactory.

I grew up on Ledo's pizza when I lived in Takoma Park and no other pizza can come close to it. After the originalAdelphi Ledo's moved, I was hesitant about trying it as I have been consistently disappointed in the franchises.
On a whim, we tried TJ Elliott's and were shocked that it is the very same pizza. It brought back many wonderful memories.
The crust is still thin and flaky and the sauce is rich and yummy.
We got a carryout of lasagna and that too was delicious and enough to easily feed two people.
Good thing we don't live closer or that would be our home away from home. Thank you T. J. Elliott's for not disappointing me!
