We were on a day trip to Harper's Ferry and my husband and I tried out this nearby restaurant in Brunswick to celebrate by birthday. We ordered middle eastern dishes and they were so fresh and good that we wished we could go every week. Don't be afraid to try the Baba Ghannouj as an appetizer - it was delicious. Very reasonable prices and casual with local musicians providing dinner music and this was on a Monday night. They have a large selection of American dishes as well and the place was packed. You won't go wrong eating at this little restaurant tucked away on East Potomac St!

While we were camping, we chose not to cook our own meals. We found the Potomoc Street Grill in Brunswick, Maryland, and it was the perfect choice. So good, in fact, that we went back for dinner two nights in a row - a rarity for those of us who like to bounce around to different places. The wrap was excellent while the gyro was not quite as good. It was fine, but not quite as strong as the wrap. The second night we had a Greek salad and a pasta dish, and both were delicious. Excellent, friendly service and really great prices. Two dinners was only about $16 total! I recommend stopping here if you're in the vicinity.

The Potomac Street Grill is now serving breakfast on weekends from 8AM-Noon (and sometimes later). If you don't want traditional meat and eggs, which of course they have and are delicious, try the Jul (pronounced jewel), a fava bean kind of stew. So popular they have put it on their regular daily specials menu. There's also a variety of omelets and happy vegetarian choices. I saw the negative review of the Grill and while you can't please everyone all the time, this guy just was in left field as far as crowded and loud. The restaurant is quite popular now, a year and a half after opening, so you can expect some crowds...but with outdoor seating and summer upon us, that should help. Considering it's a family restauarant there is some loudness when the place is packed, but come on...it's neither a shrine nor a church, it's a restaurant. And a darned good one at that. Brunswick is extremely lucky to have this pleasant place, with great food, to visit!
