I had luunch here with a group of about 30 people. That size of a group can stress the best wait staff. But not the staff here. It was a team of 3 or 4 that took care of us. They handle our orders and requests quickly and I must say that I was impressed. The food we ordered was lunch fare. Burgers, snadwiches, pizza, and soups. I did not hear one compliants about the food or the services. The location was on the water and there was pplevty on outside seating available. My only issue with the event was the lack of parking. Not really the restaurants isse but the entire area seems to have limited parking. We ending up finding parking at a close by public lot so it really it not a deal breaker. I would go back with out hesitation.

Went here for dessert and coffee on a Sunday evening. Place was almost empty. Everything was great, as far as the food was concerned, but the service was slow and spotty. The server was friendly but he did not check back often enough. At one point, we had to ask another server to refill our drinks. I realize we were not there for a three-course meal but consistently good service should be provided no matter what the patrons are eating. There was hardly anyone in the place so it wasn't like he was swamped with other tables. Nevertheless, the food and atmosphere were good enough to encourage a return visit for an actual dinner. The desserts we had were excellent.

The Inn consists of two restaurants, both overlooking the marina and C&D Canal. The deck, with in and outdoor seating is adjacent to the marina is a beehive of activity during the boating season. and is covered during the winter months and open only on weekends. Food is also served at the tiki bar. The menu is diverse with burgers, pizzas, salads, shrimp, etc. The food is good to excellent, the drinks a bit pricey. Also on the deck is a seasonal ice cream bar. Check the inn’s web site for year round entertainment and dancing on the deck.
Above the deck is the casual fine dining bar and restaurant (open year round 7 days a week) with its newly opened outdoor terrace giving one a great view of the lower deck, canal and quaint town. There are usually two menus, bar and dining consisting of great seafood, beef, pork and the very popular sushi and great deserts. One can't miss with the soups, especially the crab bisque. The waiters in both restaurants are very friendly and accommodating.

When looking for a good place to eat, always ask the locals. Chesapeake City, a quaint little town in Northeast Maryland, is home to a great place to eat. What looks like a typical marina, and may actually be, a two tier restaurant and bar. We were told to choose the second level and were fortunate to beat the local crowd. The menu offered a vast selection of seafood specialties, all prepared in their own special way. The "skin on" Rock fish was fabulous. And a vast selection of wine was paired as well.

This restaurant is consistently peaceful and friendly with a beautiful view of the canal. The food is delicious and the wine menu is extensive. It is also fairly expensive - we use it as our special occasion restaurant.
Inside is romantic and quiet - the deck in the summer is a better place to meet friends but can be raucous and crowded.
