Travelling to the area and leaving booking to the last minute, we were impressed that the Stag and Huntsman were able to fit us in for that evening. The car park is large and there is ample, parking. It was a busy midweek summer's evening and it took a little time to get served, but nothing unexpected in a popular pub. We were shown to our room by a friendly staff member. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The food was nice - we particularly enjoyed the apple and blackberry crumble. Breakfast in the morning was very good and at an ideal time (8 til 10), as was check out (by 11). A little pricey for a B&B but for the convenience and location it suited us well. Would recommend.
