We are just finishing an 8 night stay with Cherry Hill Park. We enjoyed this campground and area so much we already booked another trip back for the fall! There is no better place to stay when wanting to visit the area or anything in DC. This campground goes above and beyond and is top notch with customer service. Sites are gravel and most are long - We stayed in a standard back-in and wasn’t disappointed (fit our 42’ fifth wheel with little maneuvering). Great hook-ups, nice pools, mini-golf, store, roads paved, nice/clean facilities, cafe, dog areas, hiking path, separate tent areas, cabins, great WiFi, mail, wood delivery, etc. etc. One of the best things they offer is a concierge - who helps plan activities and tours. They offer a session (or two) every evening to teach people how to get around DC using Metro and buses - this is an excellent service to campers. Everyone working in this campground (from desk staff, to concierge, to cafe, to workers) were extremely friendly and helpful. Visiting DC is an awesome experience (with so much to see/do) and this is a great place to do that from. We also took the Cherry Hill Evening Bus tour into DC, which was very educational (best part is it left to/from the campground into DC). This campground is family friendly - as well as perfect for couples. They do offer Camp discounts (check website, we used good sam discount). I highly recommend staying with Cherry Hill Park and can’t wait to return in the fall.

We stayed here while vacationing in the DC area. It is such a family-oriented campground which is why we stayed here. There are 2 pools, a splash park, multiple playgrounds, miniature golf ($1 all proceeds go to a children's hospital), outdoor movies with free popcorn nightly, an arcade, and hiking trails. The bathhouses are very clean, I was quite surprised for it being a camp. There is also laundry on-site at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The tent sites are very nice and shaded. There are multiple sinks to wash dishes and garbage bins to keep your area clean. There is wildlife, so keeping food in a safe place is a must, otherwise it will get eaten.

The campground is one in a million. Lots to do and so informative they tell you everything you need to know about getting around Washington DC, including the buses and metro, what to see. Enjoyed the mini golf and splash park

Although we stayed in a cabin we have been Rv people since 2005. This is the nicest, cleanest campground I’ve ever been in. The cabins are clean well furnished and a steal for lodging so close to DC. The metro takes 22 minutes to the national Archives on the Mall. The people and service are first rate. If you are apprehensive about getting into Dc don’t be they explain it so well that I had no issue and I’ve never been on a subway. If you are considering a Dc trip with an Rv this is the place to stay, and even if your not the cabins are a great value.

We stayed at Cherry Hill Park last week when we were in the area for my husband's brother's burial at Arlington National Cemetery. We used our extra time for site seeing in the Washington DC area. Metro buses come right to the Park and transfer you to the train subway system.

The Park is family friendly with 2 swimming pools, playground, dog park, bath houses, a gift shop, a little snack shop/grill, plus other amenities. Not only are there RV parking spots, but tent spots and cabins for rent.

The Park is very clean and the staff is friendly. We would definitely stay again.
