“Stick to the basics...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

Restaurant was within walking distance of our B&B and was convenient for a casual dinner. We ordered a variety of items and some were better than others. If you don't get too fancy, you should be okay. Definitely popular with locals and while it had a "homey" look and feel, it wasn't especially friendly. Service was okay... no complaints.

“Good Food and Fun Trivia”

We happened in on a Wednesday night and there was a Trivia contest that we joined. Lots of fun and good food too.

“Perfect for locals”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2013

This is the kind of place that is perfect for locals if you want to have dinner and run into some old friends. They will be there. The food is okay. The menu is okay. The place is clean. The service is okay. The waitresses are usually scrambling around waiting on too many people at once but they will probably remember everything you asked for. On Wednesday evenings they usually have a trivia game going on. It's fun and free and opened to everyone who is interested. Their drinks are usually good but getting a frozen Daquiri is always "iffy". Seems they often have blender issues or are out of the mix, etc. etc. But, if you want a beer, this is your place! All of their meals are good, my only real complaint is their menu is uninspired.

We usually do the sandwich and fries thing when we have eaten there. To our tastebuds it is good. Dine In or Carry Out

“Very local meeting place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2012

Stopped here for lunch with my husband. Several tables were occupied in the main room and other rooms were full of groups. Our server was friendly and efficient. The menu offered many sandwich and salad choices and there were 3 soups of the day. Husband had tomato Parmesan soup which was delicious. He also had a fish/grilled cheese sandwich that looked very good. I had a patty melt which was good. Both sandwiches were large. Served with tortilla chips. I overheard neighboring table patrons saying how good the cole slaw and crab cakes were. We would return when in the area. We have not had good luck finding great eats in Cumberland, but this was the best so far.
